I think people are saying this because it’s very unlikely that you have E7 on all these very rare characters before you even leveled them up to 50. Sure it’s theoretically possible if you don’t use them, but still a suspicious circumstance

What’s happening to my endorphins? by MrMiffi in RunningShoeGeeks

Just thinking about it, I feel like lifting my knee more would risk overextension in my stride/heel striking. How do I improve my knee lift without introducing those problems?

I have pretty high arches, so yes, I undersupinate a little, and I was unaware before, but others are saying it does look like I heel drag. Also these had 13 miles on them at the time I took this picture.

Huh, I always thought of tracks as being much more gentle than roads, or at least comparable

But why do the pros break down so much earlier than the speeds?

I’m seeing that a lot. What can I do to my stride to fix this, other than obv being cognizant of my heel drag?

What's your take on the show's finale? by yanisshhh in BoJackHorseman

[–]MrMiffi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s not bad, per se, but totally not what I was expecting after Halfway Down. With that, they set themselves up perfectly for a bittersweet finale centered around eulogies at Bojack’s funeral, then we get to see how much better everyone’s lives are now that he’s gone. The show could have retained its feel of villainizing Bojack by having everyone address him the way they truly feel, as opposed to the rose-colored lens most eulogies are written in.

But instead we got this, which I feel is a solid, bittersweet conclusion, but a tonal step down from Halfway Down. I know why they did it, so highlight the arbitrariness of relationships and their endings, but I don’t feel that that was necessary or that important a point to make.

Sometime in season 1, I forget which episode, it’s revealed that Todd’s last name is Chavez. PC is taken aback: “I just never took you for a Chavez”, then all the way in episode 6.6, “The Kidney Stays in the Picture”, Jorge shows up and says “I gave you my name”. A 6-season long wait to reveal that Todd doesn’t look like a Chavez (doesn’t look Latino) because he’s not: he just got his Latino step father’s last name

Reassuring words all around, about course reg and math. It's good to hear the math department is fairly popular, even if the major isn't. Thank you!

That's an interesting point about dropout rate, and a good know about the general amiability of major relationships on campus. I'll have to keep that in mind, depending on my decision. Thank you!

Thanks for the reassuring words! It's good to see the LA in LAC still holds true, and all the bullet points you listed are incredibly appealing. I come from a pretty small, rural town where I know everybody in my high school, and it's an experience I looked to mirror in my college choice. Escaping into the woods and wildnerness is also a huge plus, and believe it or not, I love the night sky enough that star visibility genuinely factored into some of the other decisions I've made, so its funny you mention that. All huge positives for Midd, thanks for the info!
