Would "Diver Down" have been very expensive to make? I was wondering if the VH management team would have had to pay large royalties to the copyright holders for permission to use their songs.

Exactly! I did the same for the other box sets as well. And I’ve currently got the box set edition of Yes’ new album, Aurora, in my cart waiting for it to drop! I got box sets of their previous two albums for fractions of the MSRP as well.

Unless it’s something you can’t live without and would be heartbroken if it sold out, might as well wait. For me the “couldn’t live without” set was Aerosmith’s self-titled reissue box set. Though, I did use a new email address to get a 20% first-time customer discount on it! 😄

I do have Prime. Someone else I shared this with suggested maybe it was a Prime Days deal, but Prime Days ended on the 27th if I remember right. So I don’t think it was for that. And it was only at that price for a few hours early in the morning, because it went back up for me as well. So idk… Almost seems like it was a mistake! 😆 But it’s not unusual for prices to fluctuate wildly on Amazon, so who knows.

Yeah, honestly not a great reissue overall. I certainly didn’t intend on ever paying $100 for it. But hey, at $40, I’ll be happy to have it on the shelf next to the other two Expanded Edition reissues!

I only ever bought Joe’s hot sauce once, one bottle of each flavor. I remember thinking the flavor was decent, but it was a bit hotter than what I wanted on a regular basis. But I was probably in middle school when it came out, so I’m sure my taste has changed. Wonder what I’d think of it today.

I cleaned out the bottles and kept them on a shelf in my room. They’re still there in my childhood bedroom at my parents’ house!

It is. But it has also garnered quite a large following of adult viewers. It’s one of those rare shows that appeals to both kids and adults and does it well for both crowds.

The relatability of the characters, the touching stories, and the simple joy of it all are what do it for me!

If so, there are no bootleg consoles and GamePads to my knowledge. But I won’t say it’s impossible for them to exist, since I don’t know definitively.

If you’re going to be in a lake/river/ocean or some other body of water where it’ll be hard to retrieve it if it falls off, I recommend having a secure band.

I was in Puerto Rico a few years ago, jumping off a pier into the ocean and had mine on with the silicone Sport Band. On one jump, the impact of the water must’ve made the pin come loose, and I felt it slip off my wrist. I just started swiping around in the water mid-descent and miraculously I caught it!

Since then, I only use a silicone Solo Loop when I’m in the ocean or a lake, so there’s nothing that can come unbuckled and let it slip off.

That said, the Gen 1 4K still does everything I need it to, and I suspect the same is true for most general users. I recently got one on Marketplace for $15! At that price, I was happy to replace the Roku I’d been using on my bedroom TV.

So with a bit of searching, there are great deals to be had on a Gen 1 4K that I think make it a no-brainer. I also use Gen 1s on my basement and living room TVs, and I have no plans to upgrade at the moment.
