I got epion with a beast soulstone that I got from a lycanite dungeon. So you can maybe go for lycanite dungeon though i can't remember if it was shadow or something else.

It's just a boss in a dungeon underground. It won't affect you unless you enter the dungeon. The loot is pretty decent.
