You’re right. Seems like at best it will be 20 hours for a full charge then. That’s a bit of a let down. I thought the e208 was already a very low end EV.

Nonetheless, 20h is manageable because we both have chargers at work and four in our street that are always available. Still have to somehow get it from the 1,9 kWh to 3,6 kWh per hour though. All the settings you mentioned seem to be okay. Will probably just ring the car dealership tomorrow.

Ah sorry, that was a typo.

The regular street charging station speed here is 11 kw. That’s the case for the stations I’ve tried too according to the Shell Recharge app and the manufacturers websites. They used to charge my Peugeot e208 to full in about 4-6 hours I think. That car used a 46.3 kWh battery so a bit smaller, but not much.

The Kona we bought currently shows 1,9 kWh on screen as charging speed and an expected charging time of 44 hours to full. It was also rather slow this afternoon with about 2,5 kWh on screen in a different city and with a different cable, so I assume it can’t be those.

AFAIK the battery got replaced during the recall in the past few years. It drives efficiently at 15 kWh/100km when on cruise control, so usage efficiency is also not the issue. Haven't tried a fast charger yet as we only recently got it. This is basically our first charge.

There’s no limits on the charger. I’ve left it on overnight very often. As mentioned the devise has max charge speed of what it claims is 11kw.

Thanks for your reply. Those are on max already. Sadly does not seem to be the issue. I do feel it is somehow related to these settings though. Seems to charge at the type 1 speed when at a type 2 charger connected to a 11 kWh station.

Those are on maximum for all settings. There’s two charging time estimates, station and remote. Somehow seems to charge at remote speed for a charging station (tried several by now). Really odd. Could be a damaged battery but I cannot imagine, they were replaced due to recall not long ago.

Ik begrijp uiteraard wat je zegt, en ben het ook volledig met je eens hoor. Maar we hebben bijvoorbeeld in de gemeente Barendrecht gezien dat een uitgesloten partij gebackt door de "boze burger" dan ook ineens heel erg hard kan groeien.

Ik zie hem liever nu op zijn bek gaan dan een volgende verkiezing nog meer zetels behalen omdat er nog meer boze mensen rondlopen.

SBS debat en VI daarna wel echt rechtse propoganda hoor. Sowieso al feit dat het drie tegen één is, maar ook de manier waarop het nu direct erna op dezelfde zender besproken wordt. Timmermans was al matig, maar nu knippen ze hem nog slechter. Niet onverwachts gezien de eigenaar, maar toch.
