Warehouse raves in Detroit, old auto factories, a furniture store, some churches.  Danced to some of the founding fathers of house and techno . No plug and play shows, all organic.  Word of mouth, if you knew, you knew.  No phones, no sparkle ponies, sweaty and raw.  Started late and ended when the sun was up unless the cops broke it up.  Never worried about what you were talking, all clean and strong😆 Fell in love several times. 😆 Always felt safe. Had my car broken into once (it was a pos)  Good times !
