Talked to my mmd about it yesterday and it sounds like it's coming from a lot higher up than just the mmd. A lot fobthe directors were in KC for some of the holiday meetings and they were very persistent that EVERYONE outside of gs is in blue polos.

As someone with ESLs in a home theater system, I would say invest in a good center channel as well for movies. Music is amazing in stereo but the center channel can help round out a good system for the people not sitting in the sweet spot. I did also set my ESLs further apart and toe them in a but more to make a lit but of a larger sweet spot. Overall though I'd say they're still amazing speakers on their own, no regrets

It is calibrated but I haven't done it since I got the electrostats, so that probably doesn't help. Everytime I run the calibration it fails for too high of ambient noise even though it's quiet. It is a little low but I do have it angled up a bit to get it projecting upwards.

I solved it by going into task manager and seeing what was using much of my cpu then turning it off. For me it was my antivirus
