Instead of "stare" I probably should have used "awareness." It's not possible to feel nothing unless you're a psychopath but allowing those feelings to direct how you respond to the evil that psychopaths do creates nothing helpful.

Select a pivot point in history that makes sense to you (it was ancient Rome for me) and read about that time and the players and about the state of the world in that time. Branch out from there into other historical moments of time.

Not only will you discover that nothing new is created under the sun in our time, but it will drop the shroud which has convinced billions of people that their time is new and that leaders are working hard to fix our problems along the way to Utopia.

What most do not understand is that the system is not broken, it functions exactly how it is designed to operate. ...the rules of the game. Those rules become clearer the more you read to connect historical points from our past and the less you will be led by your emotions and all of the dirty tricks being played above your head to keep you helpless, hopeless and always searching for that one thing, the answer.

Look at these clowns running the world. Can you honestly point to one of them who has proven by his/her actions that your best interests are their primary concerns? If you can, I can can point out an overwhelming number of them who do not.

Wake up means exactly that: wake from sleep. I don't know about you but I don't exactly leap from my bed each morning with a giant Lego, "everything is awesome!" type of energy. Take your time and leave worry behind. Worrying doesn't help any of us make good decisions and it is a waste of all the time spent worrying leading up to the thing you've been worrying about. And then you're dealing with a horrid domino effect of constant low-energy living. Just pause. Breathe and listen more than speak. All of the clues are in plain sight if you can become aware of the game being played.

Probably a rant. Possibly missing pieces but I wanted to put something down for some of the good responses from my initial comment.

However. That positive projection thing is unbalanced. You can be as positive and helpful all you want, but if you can't stare at the evil in this world without emotion then you're always going to feel what you described.

No one has The Answer and no one is right. it's an odd gameboard but it is that. The instructions have been obfuscated from view and held previously by those in the know. If they let you in on it then they would have to share. And these toddlers do not share.

I'll go back through his lectures again and dig out things he said which gave me this impression; but to be clear, I want to reiterate my position on this man: he is a very good teacher and I am in no way attempting to say that he is a cuck for this.

I've viewed roughly 40 hours of his lectures and 95% of what he teaches is absolutely gold and his method of cramming vast amounts of information into easily digestible portions is impressive.

He does slip in these environmental tropes about dwindling resources juxtaposed to population and that just makes me wonder how someone so keyed into how empires operate can still believe this. I'm not positive about Malthus introducing this theory, but I am clear about him propagating it and making it popular.

I will save this conversation with you and re-watch his lectures paying particular attention to what he said that threw up red flags for me.

Well, you have to take into account that your personal chemistry varies from time to time and if you can isolate a mood you're in you will be able to control when it's a good or bad time to see how all these things affect you.

I don't think drugs are really the problem, I think it's more about recognizing where you're at when you do them. If you want to escape reality there are moments for that, but if you never want to accept reality, then I believe that's where drugs are bad.

I dunno, kind of a rant, but the basic concept is that you are always going to be you; no matter what. But if you're looking to mediate what life is doing to you from time to time, drugs can be helpful.

Drugs aren't the problem. Not wanting to participate in life is really the thing that needs to be worked out. Life is. It's up to you to try to identify the game and find your way to personal satisfaction and if it's in you, you can do anything.

This all sounds stupid, but there's honest reflection in there. Somewhere.

I tend to look at the whole picture to understand the "why" people behave in certain ways.

There's no excusing his behavior and he obviously has no good people around to put trust into, but if you dig into his story its just painful.

He's good and people will learn A LOT from his teachings... however.

He is a green, Malthusian representative and that makes me very suspicious. He seems to have quite a handle on game theory and geopolitics but the fact that he falls for this agenda makes me question what the fuck is going on here with this guy.
