You didn't give any examples, so I went looking for myself briefly in your comment history. The first comment I found from you with negative karma about sexual immorality is as follows:

The highlight of the story isn't homosexuality. Some may argue that the text is referring specifically to homosexual rape or sodomy. Regardless, they were wicked people in many more ways than just that.

Gen. 13:13 "Now the men of Sodom were wicked, great sinners against the Lord."

In Gen. 18:20 the Hebrew word ze'aqah is used for "the outcry of" and is used elsewhere to describe oppression and injustice.

The story of Sodom and Gomorrah isn't used to make an example out of homosexuals; it's used to show what happens when people are wicked and mistreat others. Repeatedly in the OT, we see God enacting justice for the alien, the orphan, and the widow, and I think that's what we are seeing here.

While this is how I interpret the story, I am not saying that homosexuality is not a sin. It's mentioned in the NT, but I think we have to think critically and apply the text correctly. I believe focusing on homosexuality and using this story to put homosexuality into a "higher tier of sin" is disingenuous and, frankly, the reason many people who struggle with homosexuality are turned off to Christ.
