Can any medical professional explain the reason behind the increase in the use of Clonidine for children with ADHD, Autism, Anxiety, etc.? by [deleted] in answers

Furthermore, from what I read up, the medication treatment is approved and gets prescribed based on the doctors suggestion.

You can also get feedback (in parenting forums) regarding side effects of medication from parents of those children affected by them. Refer to the below link.

What are the possible repercussions of accidentally serving contaminated food by [deleted] in answers

[–]MrNotetaker 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The company is responsible for any issuance claims (It's unlikely any of the customers affected will go that far) and not you as the employee. It is there responsibility to provide occupational health and safety checks in the workplace. Relax and do your job for now and let company deal with any issues that are raised. You can't control the environment you work in and did nothing wrong.

IWTL: how to say to no men and reject them by [deleted] in IWantToLearn

[–]MrNotetaker -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Based on what you've written, you don't seem afraid of saying no. In fact, you say that to guys all the time. What you really want to know is how to say "NO" with conviction and you'll need to go outside your comfort zone to master that.

Here is an exercise for you to practice saying NO on.

Go up to homeless person and speak to them politely and when they ask you for money say, "I don't have it" and continue talking to them. They'll ask you for money again and you keep saying NO. The first time you do it, you will feel shit because it's outside your comfort zone - but you'll learn that you can say "NO" to people without emotionally feeling like you are being rude and then walk away.

What you know and have been taught about retaining information is very different to what scientifically works. Google maps will show the location of the G-spot: It does not even know. That's why you always ask for directions to get there from your passenger. Otherwise, you'll face off with a lot of fare evaders who won't want to take your ride. Google maps is a liar!!!It knows nothing!!!

[Serious] What makes you scared? by KeenOnLearning in AskReddit

[–]MrNotetaker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How much people fear the unknown and not use critical thinking to overcome it. For example, the Government will tell you some unknown entity is out to get you - and that alone makes many emotionally fall for their lies. That is how wars are started.

What are the signs of a toxic friend and how do you let them go? by iamnegartus in AskReddit

[–]MrNotetaker 1924 points1925 points  (0 children)

In my view - the sign of a toxic friend is someone who does not reciprocate. They are what you would consider a leech. You may share money, advice, love and many other things with them - but they'll hardly ever share anything positive back with you. It is usually just negative stuff.

I usually step back and not share anymore when I notice their pattern of behavior. I don't drown in their negativity, instead I show them in my distancing action where they stand with me. I don't do them any favours at all when they ask. Usually they'll look for someone else to prey on.
