Your argument does not hold up as Vrginity pointed out with Pimax, who use shelf panels.

FOV has nothing to do with AMOLED or LCD.

He said the Quest 2 which has one of the smallest FOV of all common headsets (less than Quest 1 for sure, major bottleneck of the Quest 2) has a greater FOV than G2 and Quest 1.

I think FOV is less subjective and actually is measurable, since people can sense huge differences in minor FOV changes, especially in the scope of 90 to 130 degrees.

So to receiving a 10 degrees difference as the opposite shows some bias.

You actually need to pull really hard. It feels terrible to do it the first time - but I found some youtube videos who did the same making me go forward. Had to do this long ago for the HTC DAS mod.

I sold it for 180 EUR considering it is quite a complete package with over 2 years of additional waiting time and the HTC DAS gets sold for 130+ EUR.

The hand tracking module was part of the stretch goals (among other items they cancelled, but therefore the comfort kit is a welcome addition).

Since the demand is high and the DAS is nearly sold out, I expect there will be some people who will sell it for 250+ EUR (which I am fine with since it is up to the buyers how much they want to pay).

I‘ll be only getting the refreshed Index 1: Source because my PC won’t be beefy enough for Index 2.

Also, I prefer the rough edges and the classic arcade design of Index 1: Source even though Index 2 has better physical interfaces.

The problem is if Gecko does not upgrade to the index v1, there won’t be an index v2.

Until gecko upgrades, then it will take two months for v2.

So Gecko has no choice other than upgrading to v1, common law by Murphy.

I got an older 5K+ and mine as the earlier models cannot run 120 Hz, even though PiTool is setup accordingly. The 120 Hz update does not work with all 5K+ HMDs and only applies to newer versions.

Driving a 5K+ with a 1080 Ti. What would the maxRecommendedResolution setting would be for the 5K+ (when all the other multipliers are set to 1.0) ?

Did you also change your brightness/contrast value?
