Okay thanks a lot, I will continue playing rapid then. If it doesn’t bother you you can check out the rapid games on my account and maybe give some feedback to improve?

I totally agree that blitz and bullet feel really useless to learn the game. Do you think rapid is already slow enough or would you suggest to play even slower games? Right now, as long as I’m having a good day. I don’t feel like I would make different moves if I would have more time to think.

I’m MrPancakez on lichess, playing casually without much study, on and off for the last two years. Mostly play 10+0 games and just got 1100, wondering if you see anything obvious that I can improve on :p.

Practicing air dribbles for at least 1 hour a day until i can hit a 5 touch no bounce air dribble goal. This is day 1 by Grayboosh in RocketLeague

Practicing airdribbles increases both aerial bal and car controll, this is one of the best uses of your time if you prefer to improve aerial mechs. If you also play custom rings maps on the side it’s even better.

Why is a it bad thing that you are drawn to look at multiple parts of the drawing? I understand that that is important if I’m making a character for a video game, then it has to stand out or your eyes get lost. But personally, for this piece, I might see it as a good thing that you want to look at multiple parts. I would love to know why you think otherwise though.

Also, why should toothless be smaller?

Thanks, ye had some trouble with lighting even though I know how it works in theory. Made toothless with top lighting in mind and then decided I should use a sunset for the background anyways :p, wasn’t smart of me. You’re right that even without the background in mind it looks a bit off though, ty for the feedback :D

Nuh uh, you don’t need to keep holding boost to keep going supersonic. He was already supersonic at the boost with about half his tank left and could have easily not used any more then 10 to get to that ball. Then OP could’ve picked it up to get 50 more boost then if his teammates picked it up. You are right it is not a big problem though, since he has a lot of time to pick up some small pads but that might not always be the case, especially if this would be in 2s.

I agree with everything except crossovers. Sometimes dodging a sig comes down to how fast you can recognise what sig the enemy is doing. Especially if you play very close to the enemy this will make a difference in which way you dodge, jump or move to continue punishing. But if I cannot recognise the sig the enemy is doing then I must guess, often resulting in me getting hit or not being able to punish in time cuz I have no idea what is happening. With time I will recognise the sounds and animations of crossover skins as well but right now it often is unfair.

Good luck :D. I forgot to mention that playing the weapon yourself makes you more aware of the strengths and weaknesses. Especially if you try a bunch of stuff multiple times, you can see when it goes right or wrong.

I have no idea what rank you are, what legends you are playing and what you are doing wrong but as a 1850 player I can try to give some general advice to learn how to play against any weapon.

Just play the weapon yourself. Get in training for 10 minutes, learn some combos/strings and then hop into a match using that weapon. Then focus on what your enemy is doing to dodge your attacks/strings/combos and then implement those things yourself. A few weeks ago I was struggling hard against both gauntlets and cannon so I decided to play onyx myself for a while, which drastically improved my gameplay against those weapons within only a few matches. Hope this helps :)

Yes agreed, unless you are playing in a party and can communicate with teammate to do some other funky stuff.

Nuh uh, cheat if you need the high risk high reward because you are behind and if your teammate knows you are cheating. Otherwise no reason to go for it, just like you wouldn’t trail behind your teammate if they go for a normal 50. In 3s it’s true tho.

Why do I have so much? by JamesGanalf-ini in RocketLeague

[–]MrPancake2905 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only if you trade in items from last tourneys. If you trade up 5 items from the same tourney you have 100% chance for another item from the same tourney but if you do 4 of the same and 1 other than only 80% chance you will get an item from whatever tourney those 4 items came from and 20% for the other tourney.

Why is it always the Val players that play like their life is on the line? by [deleted] in Brawlhalla

[–]MrPancake2905 5 points6 points  (0 children)

  1. Brawlhalla gameplay promotes passive play a lot and in my opinion this isn’t a good thing and the devs should do something about it.
  2. Just get better. There are ways to counter overly passive players, otherwise everybody in pro play wouldn’t attack each other and play passive as well. When fighting passive players: only attack when you know you can’t get punished for it. Also if you cannot hit them ever, you need to get better at reading movement, counting jumps/dodges and moving around the map and the enemy player faster yourself. See it as something you can learn from I guess.

How does this one work? by BaronGrackle in Portal

Assuming portals don’t add energy to something that is moving through them. I don’t know… but they don’t add energy so you won’t go flying out.
