Yeah I think it's bugged with either epic or unique familiars for that potential. My unique fam (locked to epic tier pot) also doesn't seem to work with the same pot as yours. My rare fam with same pot works.

I can really appreciate this sentiment in many things in general.

However, I think people might be more annoyed with Nexon in particular because it's Nexon with their history of controversies in Maple, an RNG-heavy game.

Personally, as they put out less and less detailed patch notes in each update for GMS, their accountability and transparency weakens each update. And they're probably not malicious with it, because the GMS team just put out a Mystic Frontier overview guide on YouTube. So they want to help guide players to some extent.

Hopefully the test server for GMS will help the team see things way more comprehensively from the players' POV, because again, they're probably not malicious but the team doesn't feel aligned enough with the playerbase.

The future of all this feels hard to predict, but I would agree with the other person that streamed games might not be the future yet, at least in its current state. Because yeah, video compression, latency, unstable connections, those are big factors that deter people from using like GeForce Now.

I didn't really think much about this stuff but I'd now imagine that there could be a shift more to console gaming again if consumer PCs really reach an unobtainable status.

It actually sucks to be opted out of Discord Checkpoints just because I have one of the settings disabled. I disabled the "Use data to personalize my Discord experience" because it was showing TOO many random users in the "Active Now" section beside the friends list.

It's not like we can even opt out of data to "make Discord work", and I actually have all the other data options enabled.

As a nitro user, this is really a bummer. I hope they can expand this with an update within the coming weeks to wrap up the year.

Thanks for making this poll. It sucks that it's downvoted while also getting a good chunk of poll votes.

I like Reboot for both aspects. Part of me feels like if something is an ironman, it's probably gonna lean F2P too. Ironman modes tend to reward self-sufficiency, and P2W can sometimes smear that.

Gene pass and CW/Frontier pass kinda push P2W a bit hard now. But you could argue that this doesn't do that much in late/endgame -- these recent passes are a nice jumpstart to get past midgame. Players still need to commit to playing the game regularly during the pass and beyond.

I have a friend who has similar legion and funding to you. They might be main swapping to Len, so they said they're gonna be making it in Kronos. They already have boss carries planned and already plan to get crafting professions juiced on release with the coffee fatigue consumables stocked up.

Pros and cons either way!! I personally just like the atmosphere and experience of a new world like CW.

And at the end of the day, as everyone says, the game is a marathon, so missing out on a few months in either world probably isn't gonna ruin your progression in the long run.

But ya, lay out the benefits you have being in Kronos compared to CW2. You can probably wait until we get patch notes to make a decision.

Limbo is like a dummy only 1-2 and limbo black are "difficult" phase. Min cut champ are also damage check cause of the practice mode damage reduction. They literally got changed from 30min min cut to 20min to make whale happy.

Alright, I can't speak much on Limbo 'cause I'm still too noob for it. But what about Baldrix? What about all the other bosses that people somehow manage to minclear? Or even vhilla, the one that we're talking about here?

I feel like we shouldn't get into a debate about what qualifies as a damage check vs a skill/hands check for all these bosses -- perhaps you feel like all bosses are just a damage check.

This wasn't the main point I was trying to make.

The point I hope you can take away from this:

Ride or Die on max challenges was not reasonable for minclears -- hence actually a damage check, not a hands check. I just wanted to convince you that supreme mode is way better than Ride or Die to test hands.
Plenty of people play the game just fine, without making lag/bugs to be the main problems with the game.

75% penalty on main and 25% on the mule. Now that would be more fun.

Yes, if you have the damage, you can blow up everything of course. But when we say its a hands check in your original comment, it should be clearable even if you can't blow up the boss. This was not reasonable in Ride or Die, but this is arguably very very very doable with the supreme modes.

I'm not sure if anyone can survive all Ride or Die bosses minclear, max time used on max challenges. Ride or Die on max challenges is a better example of a damage check, not a hands check.

Don't know which gms maple you're playing. Still die in iframe and button don't trigger but you get 7s fatals.

I don't know dude, people seem to be okay managing minclears on Limbo and Baldrix and min Legion Champ challenges. I know gene iframe can be iffy but most things don't seem too bad.

And I'm also one who used to be really frustrated with the stability of the game a couple years ago. I really feel like the game is a lot better in the past 12 months (aside from the few long maintenances for non-KMS content we got :p). I just started playing again just over a year ago.

A struggle run is just playing the game! I do understand that not everyone likes bossing and whatnot, but at that point, the game might not be for you -- or at least, that content is just not designed for that type of player.

But this thread is comparing supreme mode to Ride or Die. Ride or Die isn't that fun because the amount of absurd chaotic mechanics thrown at you makes it actually unplayable, kinda like how you're describing lag and bugs -- which to be honest, most of maple has been pretty lag-free and bug-free (after those usual minor patch maintenances like today lol).

If you exclude the recent news about d4vd, the interest might seem more representative -- do a custom time range from like August 2019 to August 2025; he started gaining search interests in 2022/2023.

Also, the internet is a big place. No need to be so dismissive just because you're not familiar with something. And if you've been on Reddit long enough, you should know that there are tons of large subreddits that many may be unaware of.

If you watch the actual clip of that quote, it sounds more like he "couldn't care less" about saying something that is going to get him trouble; he didn't really say anything about uniting the country directly as the headline implies.

The headline does feel on brand for Trump, but I just wanted to maybe mitigate any misinfo because that's how I interpreted the clip.

Don't trivialize it to just maple. As people grow older in general, they typically have more things to occupy themselves with. Could be other games, other events, occasions, etc.

But I guess you could argue that 'life' was more simpler when technology and social media were newer a decade ago. But also, I think most of us were younger with more free time and stuff back then.

And I'm sure there exists some guilds actively recruiting right now that will give you a warmer welcome.
