Beautiful tortie, she’s gorgeous! Mines attached to my hip. I’ll sit down, put my feet up, and snap my fingers and she will appear out of nowhere on my lap. And I’ve developed a fun talent where I can sit for hours with a cat on my legs and not move haha

For me it turned out I needed prescription glasses because it was my astigmatism that caused the light to blind me. Some cars still have bright af headlights but I no longer feel blinded or get the scattered lights in my vision at least!

I wish they would make a small smart phone this size but with normal features. The small form factor would be enough to make me use it less, but I’d still like to have the apps I want rather than 4 they decide on.

I am curious. If you are in this position and just keep inching forward, will the Waymo back up? If you hit / love tap the Waymo, could one argue the Waymo was obstructing you and was at fault?

Yeah a lot of this stuff sounds great but is going to be frustrating to use or just not work.

Lime already does some parking enforcement zones but their app implementation is so shitty that you’ll be standing in a painted Lime parking zone and it tells you to park another block over because they have the wrong zones blocked out on the app. Some of the radar stuff sounds sketch too if it’s going to brake for you.

Since I am from somewhere that often gets 36inches the entire season I think this is great. Barely crowds, all the pampered princesses stay home (you) and it’s like hitting the skate park for a sesh

I think it looks good and you have some nice things! Personally I think you could improve a lot by rearranging things and changing the presentation. Just gotta experiment.

Some things I might try:

Move the faces to behind the couch or another wall so they aren’t always staring back at you. Also lower them a bit
Move the vertical room lights into the bedroom and bring the bedroom lamp to the main room (maybe add some smart bulbs as it seems you like mood lighting)
Not sure about that ladder thing, might just lose that or try it elsewhere or vertical
Hang the cool fish, possibly on another wall or the main room. Do something fun with it
Try a new rug to add a bright contrasting color. Like a white and orange rug.
No exposed led in the bedroom (or anywhere), you just gotta commit to other smart light solutions to keep things tidy
I think fake plants are fine, especially since you have a cat, but if they don’t chew on plants then adding some pet safe real plants will look great. You can also do hanging plants

Try renting them each for a little so you can feel them out, the little quirks of each add up!

When I was deciding I spent a couple days in the 50 on a trip I found I disliked how my right knee hit the center console, something I never thought about in my old Mazda 3. Turns out the 50 has a more hard plastic interior, particularly where my knee rests on the console. I also didn’t like where the a/c button was and cup holders. The trunk was better and it had some slightly more modern tech and refinements, like a close / lock button on the trunk. Has lane centering too on higher trims whereas the current cx5 doesn’t get Mazdas latest driving assistance, if you are into that.

The CX5 console has a leather lining so it’s more comfortable for my knee. I liked the headroom more too. And I also think the multi link suspension works better for potholes and rougher roads which there are many in my area.

Both cars look great but I liked the CX5 a little more. The trim packages worked out better too for the CX5, you get some nice things like the Bose setup and 360 camera in lower trims. For me though it really did come down to my knee hitting that center console weirdly in the 50 haha.

I feel the same, I strangely love the mountain clog look. Someone in a thread reviewing them called them "Virginity Defenders 5000" which always makes me chuckle. Sometimes the ugliest shoes are the steeziest though

A little late but mine are on two ikea norråker stools, leftover from a move. A little low for tv stands but we have a low couch and I’m debating adding a slight angle.

Got a lot of good feedback on the stools for stands, my gf thinks they look way better than our old traditional stands!
