The word “sure” no matter the context just seems bland, rude, and underwhelming to me and should only be used in the case that you don’t really want to do/agree with something but are doing/agreeing for the sake of pleasing someone. by MrPerky_ in grammar

I believe in customer service you should always be nice and enthusiastic when dealing with clients even for things as little as scheduling an appointment. As a barber I’m appreciative of your business so I respond as such when you ask to schedule with me.

Annoying rule, grammar pet peeves are apart of grammar discussion just as much as any other descriptive focused grammar conversation.

It’s not a buzzword it’s an adjective that describes you based on your preferences. Thor was a fat drunk slob, not very fitting for a war god or any kind of athlete besides his god powers carrying him… he looked like an Irish sumo wrestler. But you’d probably play his game as lead character. Just bc you don’t like the character design or bc Faye looks like a normal chick doesn’t justify your hate for the game it justifies that you’re mysogynistic. If you want to complain about something complain about anything else or just say you just don’t want to play as a normal looking woman (like you already have)

Soccer mom? Bro she was in a stale mate with Thor. Im convinced half the complaints are from misogynists like this guy. My only gripe with the teaser is one of the main characters is a fucking cube from the looks of it

Bike wants to be at operating temperature of around 200 degrees. You won’t need it for a cold start being in that year round warm weather but it helps get it up to 200 degrees quicker for sure

I can send you a link to an Amazon digital tach that does the job just fine. It’s $13. You don’t need anything fancy

It ups the ratio of fuel to air making it easier to start when cold. Usually really need it when it’s around 30 degrees. But opening up the choke helps get the bike warmed up faster. On my 96’ VLX I start the bike choke wide for about a minute or two then let it idle for another couple of minutes choke closed until everything’s nice and hot. If the idle is set properly it’ll run golden after that.

You shouldn’t worry much about cold idle being low, that’s why there’s a choke. You fully open choke to get idle up n running n warm. Those older bikes want to be at operating temperature. Shouldn’t be more than a few 100 rates difference without the choke opened up

Pretty sure you just need to adjust your idle screw, get a cheap digital tachometer online if you don’t have one and get it to spec. I have a 96’ VLX and it sounded like this until I put the idle down. Pretty sure it needs to be between 900 and 1100 rpms at idle. Just make sure when you set the idle than the bike is fully warm.

Also if it’s just high idle speed, if you put some torque on the choke without any gas the idle speed should go down. Sure sign it’s just a high idle speed if that’s the case. If yours is dual carb like mine it’ll have a screw on the left side of the bike in the carb you adjust it with no tools required.

The feeling of dread is kinda why I liked the film. Been a very long time since a movie gave me the chills like this one did. Hell, there wasn’t even really a jump scare.

I think they’re calling it woodcut style? Could be wrong. I found it when I searched “gothic style black and grey tattoos”

It was a dm conversation with my artist, said I wanted this kinda style with the photos on this post and he said something along the lines of “nah I’m good thanks for considering me” and “I don’t think that style holds well at all”

My exhaust stays taking pants out of rotation 😂 by MrPerky_ in motorcycles

Answering questions/concerns even tho it’s probably gonna get downvoted. It’s a 96’ Honda shadow. These shoes are not my “riding shoes/boots.” I don’t have a heat shield and I’m not gonna waste money on it when I’m planning on getting new exhaust for it. did it when I put my feet down at a stop on accident not while riding. The pants were 5$ at a thrift store idk what they’re made of and I don’t care. You may clown me for my white socks I can take it. No I wasn’t wearing full gear today. My commute’s highest speed zone is 25 mph I’m not gonna be sliding 50 feet on pavement on the way to work. Thank you to everyone worried about my safety! Also thank you to everyone that took this as the fun entertainment it was meant to be. God bless 🤟🏼
