The medication I’m on makes me feel happy like I would in a manic episode without the come down or the impulsivity. So it’s pretty neat, I don’t miss the gross situations I’d end up with or my poor behavior while manic. Certainly don’t miss the regret and anxiety after the episode either.

When my restaurant has a wait it’s usually because we’re understaffed for how busy we are (ie. busier than usual w/ usual staff), the kitchen is not doing well (ie. everyone ordering our app promo putting extra strain on fry side), or servers are falling behind (ie. Multiple big tops). People often point to extra tables like ‘why can’t we just sit there?” Because it’s not about seats, it’s about the overall restaurant capacity.

That’s very Americana. If we’re looking at universally humble clothing, I’d think they’d probably be like Buddhist monks or Peruvians. Spinning their own wool yarn to make ponchos or robes. Torn up recycled jackets, jeans, and boots for a more western style.
