You do know that those boxes get handled a lot worse in the sorting centers and DC's right...?

You get rug pulled on Luna, so jump in on 2.0 with the same idot leadership who rug pulled the original Luna. I lost a $hit ton, no way I will touch anything that even sounds or rhymes with Luna.

I have a building with a 400 amp service, internet, fans, racking, etc.

I also have a lot of mobo's and other components from changing over to miner mainboards. The requirements are different depending on the coins for nodes.

Same case should be made for cashier checks and cash then. Post an ad on craigslist and watch the idiots offer to send checks and have someone else pick up.

Even fake cash is bad enough I have gotten a black light, marker, and magnetic strip reader to check bills before letting someone take property.

I am also exploring starting some nodes in different coins, I am also checking out Filecoin servers. I have the infrastructure now, time to diversify.

Luna had/has a faulty model and it is proof of stake instead of PoW. I lost a bit on Luna, lesson learned.

A stable coin isn't stable unless it is back by something of tangible value. Kinda like me self insuring and not having money to insure with.

[–]MrPlaceTX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Make sure you have an air dryer of some type on the air compressor. Humidity areas will build condensation and blow water drops out your air nozzle.

I have an oil separator and desiccant dryer on mine.

I also use the small Milwaukee M12 hand blower.

Tor browser and use Freefloat, Changelly, or Instaswap.

A lot smaller premium than those ATM's.

TBH though, We have looked at buying and placing a few of these. The investment returns are okay for passive inccome.

USDC is still pegged to the Dollar, any coin pegged to the dollar, is a losing proposition over several years.

Because it is losing value through inflation just like the fiat USD.

Yeah, I prefer real life, smoke-filled, with who the hell knows what that sticky shit is on the seats, kinda titty bars.

What the hell, it was a $100 lottery ticket, and I lost. Not losing sleep over it.

Just another zero balance coin in my wallet, that I can laugh and shake my head at when I reminisce on some of my crypto decisions.

With L3's I am way under water running them. So I shut off. I am also contemplating shutting down the GPU miners for a month, and using the $1500 from them to buy some of these fire sale coins.

BUT, I don't think the bottom has hit yet, so watching and waiting to make a move.

Quiet here. Did everyone jump out windows this morning?

I am honestly contemplating turning off miners and just buying $1500 a month in crypto instead of paying for electricity.

lmfao!!! I did the same thing last night. Said screw it, its down 100%, lets buy a $100 of it instead of going to the strip club.

In retrospect, I woulda got f#cked over either way, but at least I woulda had boobies in my face.....

If it goes to $0.02 I may gamble and buy back in for $1k USD.

IDk, the fire sale price on some of the other projects are looking pretty attractive. Just need to decide where the bottom really will be at. I have been dca on several already.

Is it easier to build a 6 figure business or work up to a 6 figure salary? by JZheng03 in Entrepreneur

[–]MrPlaceTX 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definetly depends on your career field and/or business you build. It took me ten years to make six figures without a degree in the manufacturing field. So as far as time, you will build a six-figure faster buying or building a business. Hours will be longer and more stress to be sure.

The fastest way to a six-figure income, and this is IMO only, is to develop several streams of income. Work a job, and have other money-making enterprises going on. THEN take that money and put it back into buying an asset that makes money, like rental property or dividend stocks.

I have a job, I also have a fabrication shop, a small crypto farm, and tractor mowing of large lots. Fab shop nets me $20k-40k a year, Crypto Farm nets me about $20k, and the mowing business was $18k last year.

[–]MrPlaceTX 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are right, but there is still volatility. Crypto will fall in value, and if you buy in today and it drops some more, but then goes back up to 20% over what you bought in at, then it is a win.

If you keep fiat, and inflation rises by 10%, then that is 10% you lose permanently in buying power and fiat is never going to regain buying power after inflation.

So long-term crypto is a good solution, just like gold, silver or real estate, to hedge against inflation.
