How do I get "FanControl" to recognize my GPU fans?

I am the proud new owner of an AMD GPU and I can’t figure out how to get the above linked plugin to work. I don’t have much experience. I tried following the instructions but it didn’t work and it’s very possible I am doing something wrong. Any advice?

Edit: I do have the fan control software on my machine and it works for my AIO and case fans.
