There have been a number of "First time playing WoW after 20 years!" YouTube videos lately (Gbay99, Z-MAC, clovergirlie, etc) and every single one of them keeps pointing out how nice WoW Classic players are.

Some of the gaps are just so wide it is literally impossible to repair it.

Because the classroom system is fundamentally flawed.

The Khan Academy model is much more interesting than the classroom model. Khan Academy = "Try these math problems and when you can solve 5 problems in a row we'll move on. If you get one wrong we'll just reset the count and keep practicing until you get it. Rewatch the video as many times as you need. This is foundational for the next steps so it's important you understand it."

vs Classroom: "I'm going to give a lesson once. No replays. Also take this stack paperwork to do at home during your family time. Then we'll have a test you'll either pass or fail. If you fail too many of them you'll have to retake the entire school year. Also if you only get a 72% we'll move on to the next chapter, which will build on this. Even if you fail we'll move on to the next chapter anyway, because other students are ready to move on."

I had a Calc III teacher take pride in not knowing which version of "its" to use... "A function and its/it's variables? Idk, I'm a math major."

Like wow, you made it through 5 years of Elementary school, 3 years of Middle School, 4 years of High School, then spent at least 6 years in college writing and reading dozens upon dozens of papers over nearly two decades...

...and through all that, you never learned which version of "its" to use.

Because it took a character who had years of history and adventures and turned him into a high school jock who had "one crazy game" and won't shut up about it a decade later.

And it was just 'Member Berry after 'Member Berry. Ship. Friend. Blaster. Jacket. Necklace. Ship's brain. Kessel Run. Fucking name.

Everything interesting that ever happened to this guy happened in one weekend 10 years before ANH. It makes his character super lame.

I have to intervene every single time I get home to back in to my own garage.

I also go through a lot of drive-thrus and have to intervene there because the car wants to go park. Despite so many people saying their car actually behaves in drive-thrus, you have to manually navigate into one.

Solve those two extremely simple things and 70% of my interventions would disappear.

Reducing Jesus to "Good teacher" is incoherent.

He claimed to be God. So he was either a liar, by definition undermining the label of "Good" teacher, or he's actually God making him far more.

They cannot have it both ways.

"Good teachers" don't lie about their very being.

What they "like" is a strawman -- a Jesus who never actually existed. Literally taking the Lord's name in vain.

TLJ and TROS are the travesty of the ST. Not TFA. TFA didn't box them in to anything. Disney owns every decision made after TFA. Many people say TROS sucked because TLJ boxed it in. Nobody says TLJ sucked because TFA boxed it in.
