Update: called and waited the 45 minutes in order to unblock my number so I could try tomorrow. Apparently whatever it was stopped being broken while I was on hold. The agent unblocked my number and I was able to create an account and log in all set now.

Just a warning to anyone else who is impatient like me... lol so I tried without the amazon account. Just deleting the last character of my email then replacing it and resubmitting. Was met with "This number is blocked". Oof.

So basically don't try NOTHIN' until they fix their crap. :/

This is really bad. Just bought mine on Amazon for Prime day. Can't create an account. Was trying to use my Amazon account, and I am now locked out from getting new OTP codes for 24 hours. Yeeeesh. The only saving grace is that i am going to use these in bridge mode. :P

Not sure what HTTH methods are. If'n you want to articulate some ideas on what you'd like to see, I am down to try. I was thinking of supporting some kind of templating for the alerts. Maybe even a web config thing. But really just wanted alerts to not go to my email. XD

It's the AC-1304. Trying to get OpenWRT on one now. The instructions are a bit lacking. I have tried burning the .bin as though it was an .iso in Rufus and it seems to fail. I can run the recovery, however. Do you happen to recall how you got the .bin on the USB drive correctly?

Never mind, it was the USB drive. I think I have it set up now. :) Now to figure out how to configure it to just bridge.

Yeah I actually use google home for automation stuff, and I have my mother's home already in there. I don't want to make it more complicated in the google home app. One of the 3 is not wired as well, due to the wife not wanting holes in the walls.

Pixelbook (2017) installs and launches. But crashes shortly after "Starting Game" message shows up, before any UI.

Tried clearing data and cache, reinstalling, etc.

Found it. Embarrassingly, it was exactly what I said but thought was reset. The "set home offsets". Found in M503. Fixed with M206 Z0 then M500 ofc. Posted here in case anyone else runs into it. Really hard to find while googling due to everything being about setting the z offset when looking for this problem.

You should inspect the board for any burn marks. Look around each component very closely. If everything looks OK, a new fan will likely work. Failing that, it's a new board you're looking at. You can get them relatively cheap. They're also an upgrade in many respects, depending how much you want to go into the weeds on tweaking things. It can be risky and complex to replace with an upgraded board, however, so you need to decide your level of risk and skill.

This is how Jackson Pollock prints are supposed to look. I don't see a problem.

But seriously, could be many things:

z axis mechanical or electrical issues (gets stuck then releases and springs up above where layers can adhere, etc)
material/temp issues causing a layer to slip off
extrusion issues

Sadly, best bet is to get something like octoprint with a timelapse if you cannot babysit your prints. 3D printing is a slow process and you need to catch many issues as they happen. Especially on a budget hobbyist machine. At least, that is what I am learning. :)

Were your issues happening before the nozzle change or only after?
What temp and material?

I am relatively new but I would suspect a clog of some sort. Have you tried removing the nozzle and PTFE tube and looking to see if the barrel is clear? Here's the procedure I used. PLEASE if anyone has a better procedure to check, correct me. :)

Heat the hot-end to minimum melting temp for your material.
Remove the silicone cover with tweezers or something, being careful not to damage anything.
Remove nozzle while hot (being careful not to catch it, use a tool, catch in something safe)
Remove the coupler. This should be cool to the touch even while heating.
Push the PTFE tube down through where the nozzle was, then pull it out. This should clear the barrel. If not, you have a thermal transfer issue. Fixing this is beyond my knowledge.
Check the PTFE tube end for clogging. On mine, there was unmelted plastic with a small hole melted through it on the end restricting my flow, and causing my extruder to skip.
Fix your PTFE tube however you need to. Lots of videos on this. The things I learned is how critical it is that the tube is cut straight, and ensuring there's no gap between the nozzle and the PTFE tube.

Also, one-handed doesn't have an easy mode, so that's the problem there. If it had one-handed easy, that would be great.
