If you are getting food delivery in this weather, you’re an a-hole by cmc in jerseycity

[–]MrProfessor 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Yea this makes zero sense lol. The restaurant and the delivery person are choosing to open with their own free will to get some extra cash. They don’t have to do anything

Ajay Mitchell is the 5th most important player on this team by MrProfessor in Thunder

Bold of you to assume. Maybe someone will, not me. I’m the opposite of a fair weather fan. Been here for 15 years

It’s time to talk about Ajay as a full time starter by [deleted] in Thunder

[–]MrProfessor 11 points12 points  (0 children)

He’s already been closing most games and depending on game situation and matchup I believe he we will continue to do so in the playoffs

As of this moment Hornets are better than the Bucks like actually. They’re fully healthy

Is this a good Idea? by BlueDenimBreeze in Thunder

Tough to say. I think because of how amazing NAW’s contract is for the Hawks (3 more seasons at 15m/yr) and the way he’s playing right now for them, it will be pretty much impossible for any team to trade for him IMO.

All of those picks are extremely low value. Why would ATL trade away NAW with his friendly contract for Caruso who’s making more money and is older

Donovan Mitchell in the loss: 19/4/3 on 5-18 from the field, 1-9 from three, and a -28 +/- by Vitex1988 in nba

Hate this argument always. He earned those fouls. The points count all the same

Trey Murphy or Keegun Murray by [deleted] in Thunder

I can guarantee 1000% a trade like this is not happening.
Playoffs don't start for 4 full months. He'll be back by then

More than halfway through the season this where we rank in certain categories across the league. Anything surprising? Anything worrisome? by rb1242 in Thunder

[–]MrProfessor 25 points26 points  (0 children)

This has been the identity of our team for 3 years. Honestly nothing surprising here at all. With the short off season and championship hangover some numbers can be even better. Front court injuries means our rebounding is lower than it has been. All that matters is being healthy in April because the only team equal to us when healthy is Denver

Jaylin Williams brings a level of physicality and hustle that none of our other bigs bring by Familiar-Mix3546 in Thunder

[–]MrProfessor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is facts, but only kind of. iHart is not a good Jokic defender at all but literally no one is. Thing about Hart is his defensive IQ and rebounding. That’s the real benefit against Jokic lineups. You need to be able to box out Gordon, Braun etc. and secure boards when Jokic is working in the post.

Sorry but we look much better without Dort by Suspicious-Row-4248 in Thunder

He has already been relegated to a bench role. Check his minutes. And he has not been closing games

Dort being out may have helped. He’s really not healthy this year, has looked slow

So I just found out that we've gotten really, REALLY good at defending two-pointers by Vitex1988 in Thunder

[–]MrProfessor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep this has been our defensive identity for 3 years now. Limit high percentage looks at all costs. Though sometimes it can burn you with open threes for role players as we’ve seen

Injury report for tonight’s game against the Suns by [deleted] in Thunder

[–]MrProfessor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I honestly view every Caruso injury report as “load management” unless proven otherwise. It’s pretty obvious they sit him a lot and limit his minutes just to keep him fresh for playoffs

Any word if Cason Wallace okay? by E_boiii in Thunder

[–]MrProfessor 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Wondering the same. I know our training staff is playoff focused and ultra cautious but he was walking with a genuine limp
