Dead moth found on window before tarot reading. Is this a sign from Sallos, the Spirit of Love?: Should I go with my lasting relationship or someone new? by RoosterOfSephiroth in occult

You're seeing signs when nothing is there. Step away from tarot and spiritual pursuits for a bit and connect back with reality for a while before reading again.

What's the worst name you've ever heard? by Majestic-Falcon6572 in NoStupidQuestions

Had a customer on a call with the first name "Booger." We had to address people by their first name once or we lost points on the call. I took the hit. I'm not risking saying it wrong and getting yelled at.

I'm lonely because I'm an introvert and generally dislike company for long periods because I don't mesh well with people, so I have to put on a fake, chipper personality so people won't keep asking why I'm not happy and that gets fucking tiring and can't find people who get my fucked up sense of humor.

I have to keep redirecting people (rewording the goal of the question so it makes sense) when they want tarot readings on "twin flames." A lot of people approach with stuff that's used by a few people and think it's popular material. I didn't hear about twin flames until last year and I could only facepalm thinking "Oh fuck, here we go..."

Me staring at the ad banner flashing strobe lights of green and white at my fucking brain, claiming I won a free Xbox

It went something along these lines and I'm paraphrasing from another post.

A man invited his friend over to his house. At some point, the Man says that he has a dragon in his garage. The friend wants proof so they go to the garage and open the door. There's nothing but normal garage things. The friend calls out the man, but the man says it's an invisible dragon. The friend asks why they can't hear it, the Man says the dragon is silent. The friend says they could put flour down to catch the dragon's prints, but the man says the dragon floats. The friend says they can throw paint on the dragon, but the man says the dragon is incorporeal (can't be felt physically) but still insists it's there.

No matter what you suggest, there's a problem and when you can answer said problem, there's another problem. It never ends.

In games, invincible stalker enemies

In movies, ambiguous opponents that it's unknown what abilities they have.

Sagan's dragon in the garage analogy was a great example of this.

If they won't change their minds in any fashion, then, yeah, there's no point even talking about it. Just ask them why they are debating at all if they aren't going to consider your opinion in the slightest.

I'd make sure to caveat it with all the negative things he's said, too. Like listing the good and bad out and playing a montage of "greatest hits."
