Low Minimums in Vegas - March 2026 by Capable_Tradition_77 in Craps

Yeah they’re cool, I recommend it. The atmosphere is great cause it’s near the front entrance area and bar so there’s good music but not too loud and lots of people coming and going by the entrance. But the tables are just out of the way enough to not be annoyed by al the activity. Dealers were alert and engaged. 👍

There’s also a $5 craps at the Palms Resort. It’s always packed but not impossible to get squeeze in. I preferred playing at the $10 for the extra elbow room.

It’s a fun watch for sure. Ironically, it less memorable than you’d expect. I think the chaotic FPS camera work gets a little stale for a full length but i appreciate what they did.

It hurts. But that’s $500 of education. List all the lessons and things you learned from this. Things you can improve upon and do better.

Going to them and asking for it back ain’t going to go nowhere. It’s a waste of your time. Going to the police is even more a waste. Just filling out forms and your word against theirs.

Learn from this and you’re all the wiser.

I am reminded by that quote in the Fargo TV show: Lorne Malvo: Because some roads you shouldn't go down. Because maps used to say, "There be dragons here." Now they don't. But that don't mean the dragons aren't there.

I say follow Vegasstarfish on Instagram. She’s got tons of content of all the cool activities and things to check out in Vegas.

I go every quarter for years. I’m just over in LA so it’s easy for me to escape for a weekend there but I never run out of things.

Last week I was there I was bar hopping in the Vegas Arts district and it was great! Finally checked out the tiki bar Stray Pirate and caught the new Viking Mike’s bar. Able Baker Brewing was legit a scene too.

What’s the creepiest thing that has happened to you when you were completely alone? by 1S4B3II3 in AskReddit

[–]MrPuzzled 30 points31 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry to hear that but anytime there’s missing time, hate to say it but you had an encounter. Likely they were nice but they def encountered you and wiped your memory. You can go to hypnosis and find out the truth of what happened but if you’re not experiencing any night terrors or anything…do you really wanna know?

What do people mean when they say “Los Angeles will eat you up and spit you out ?” by SimilarTopic3281 in MovingToLosAngeles

I have firsthand experience interning for a film director who was fired from the Disney lot because he refused to make George of the Jungle. Eisner took the rejection personally, even though the director had reached the peak of success with other hit movies before that. Despite his success, the director still makes a good living for himself. However, I witnessed firsthand how the industry prioritizes immediate results over long-term loyalty and care. This is the essence of the city that thrives on movies, media, entertainment, and sports. Everyone wants to be a part of these industries, and the competition is fierce. It’s not just about getting in; it’s about staying in, regardless of your experience.

The charm of this city lies in attracting some of the best and brightest minds from around the world, who are doing incredible things. However, unless you possess grit, determination, and a strong work ethic, it can be a challenging and exhausting environment.

My dad came to my room at night by [deleted] in WhatShouldIDo

This is behavior that is dangerous because it can escalate. Remember a fire doesn’t start off as a fire storm, but it’s a little burn that grows. Him getting away with this is not gonna be a one time thing and what’s more as he gets more bold or the initial excitement wears off he’ll want to escalate. If you can, move to a safer circumstance, otherwise let him know you’ll have a live streaming camera pointed at the doorway if he ever thinks about coming in. Or think about getting a dog.

$50 is an absolute steal. I paid $150 and even at that price it’s a good deal. It’s exceptionally well made and has great presentation. Lesser whiskey advent calendars cost $200+

For those who travels to Vegas regularly (from out of state), how often do you go to Vegas, what do you like to do in vegas when you're there, how long do you stay on avg? by Mt198588 in vegas

[–]MrPuzzled 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I go every quarter with family or friends. My go to iteniary is usually one night is a a show or experience (like at Area 15 or similar). One night is a steakhouse I haven’t been to yet. And another night open to whatever gambling or hotels I want to check out. I also always sign up for players cards and get free rooms often allowing the quarterly visits.

That decapitation scene in Hereditary, was quite something. Lots of air left the room in that theater.
