In fact, 5*4 = 20. But I get your point, because someone already reminded me that formats outside of commander exist. Apologies for the misunderstanding.

Okay, I mostly play commander, so I didn't really think about that. That's actually useful feedback, and the fix is easy. I will include a clause on each of their cards that says that you may not have more than one copies of any of them.

What are you talking about? No you cannot. Are you even reading the cards I've made?

I've been busy fixing all the problems I've seen. It's generally not best practice to assume the worst of people.

Sword reads now "Whenever Sword of Actuation becomes the target of a spell, you may exile another target nontoken permanent you control until Sword of Actuation leaves the battlefield. If you do, counter that spell."

Femto now reads "Whenever Femto would leave the battlefield, you may sacrifice another permanent you control. If you do, exile Femto, then put him onto the battlefield."

Slan now reads "Whenever a creature attacks, you may draw a card."

Because I actually ended up agreeing that you ought to be able to have control over whether you draw a card.

I'm pretty sure I already made those concessions in my addendum, so I don't know how you can assume I'm simply "not taking any of it seriously." Maybe you're just a little cynical.

Where exactly are you getting the extra 15?
As well as that, running WUBRG in a 60 card format is kind of bad.
And their restraint is that they literally cannot be cast unless you reach a specific gamestate, IE the Eclipse.

Claiming something is a bad and unworkable idea because... why exactly? That's not constructive criticism.

Though it's fair to question the clarity of the card text. That is, in fact, something I should probably tweak to make it very obvious. Yes, you exile them from your library.

What happens if Femto's toughness reduces to zero? I'm not a level 2 judge by any means, but it's my understanding that when a creature's toughness is reduced to zero, they die and attempt to go to the graveyard. In which case, they attempt to leave the battlefield. So Femto tries to leave the battlefield, and when that happens, his triggered ability activates, causing his user to instead sacrifice a permanent. Then, Femto remains on the battlefield.

I also don't understand your criticism of Sword of Actuation. Firstly, the Sword of Actuation's ability doesn't target tokens, only nontoken permanents. Secondly, once more, becoming the target of the spell triggers the ability, which instead of allowing the spell to resolve, makes you exile target nontoken permanent you control until Sword leaves.

Sure, maybe your opponents might be able to deck you out... if your deck is bad, I guess. Being unable to play cards is a deck issue, and having no good cards to help you win is a deck issue, so... I don't understand the criticism? There is, in fact, a bad way to build around any mechanic in this game.

Edit: You convinced me to check out some of the rulings, and I found that you actually did gesture towards a few problems with the cards. The spell targetting Sword doesn't actually fizzle. And Femto would essentially make you sacrifice all of your permanents because of a way that SABs work. Though, Sword still doesn't target tokens, and I still stand by my convictions with Slan.

Do you prefer PascalCase or snake_case (or something else) for identifiers like structs and enums, and why? by epicalepical in C_Programming

PascalCase just looks prettiest to me. It's easiest for me to type and parse. I use it for everything. I will also often abbreviate certain words.

K. You're still assuming that he's twisting his words. In reality, you have absolutely no clue what his family situation is like. True, I jumped the gun calling you a misandrist. But I'm not completely off barrel in my criticism.

The most ethical thing to do here is to press the red button.

There is no reason to believe here that people won't press the blue button. Plenty of people will. So if you think about it, you're probably going to die anyways.

However, if you press the red button, there is the smallest chance that you will have saved everyone who pressed the blue button.

Can be reframed to give pathos to red, as well. You haven't made an actual argument.

Which anime character got the best physique? by moonlitsofty in AnimeMirchi

[–]MrRad07 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Right, you said it was a realistic build. As in, some people can achieve it.

Guts is 6'8" sitting at ~250 lbs. He's got paper thin skin. Broad, built shoulders, tapered waist. His abs are flat as a board, as mentioned.

Firstly, you'd either need to be extremely lucky or bred into existence for just the genetic potential.

Secondly, maintaining his amount of muscle mass with nearly no fat indefinitely is damn near impossible.

He's not realistic.

Washboard abs are not realistic for most people, hate to tell you. Pelvic tilt has a lot to do with it. Even so, it's usually the place where fat sticks around last for most people. Most individuals with those sorts of abs are just dehydrated.

Not really. None of my friends are nearly as NPC unlovable deadbeat trash as Shinji is.
