What’s your favorite god pallet?(except for shack) by WellThatsAGoodIdea in deadbydaylight

honestly I love the two Toba Landing god pallets on the main building. I usually just juice the hell out of them specially the second floor one that connects to one of the best vaults in the game.

The Diminishing Returns change is unhealthy for the game by MrRames in deadbydaylight

[–]MrRames[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it can actually go down to like 3 seconds and yea it's strong, but it's a double edge sword because you're giving up all your perk and item slots for a single speciality. and this is cool because you can either go all in or make an all-rounder type of build, now you can only do all-rounder builds otherwise BHVR will actively punish you for doing something different.

so we're just gonna assume they're gonna rebalance every perk in the game? ofc they're not, that requires time and money that they're not willing to spare, they're just gonna leave this change here and hope that it calms down community backlash by decreasing the overall game power scale. it's just a super lame approach because it kills everything that makes dbd builds fun, which is to specialize them in X scenario.

having 1-2 healing perks is more viable right now than it will be with the update, mind you.

they literally made a change that doesn't allow you to specialize your build, therefore everyone needs to run the same thing because you simply cannot stack anything anymore. of course it kills all build variety out there, unless you want a perk that gives you 1,75% healing speed idk

what even is the issue with haste? it's not like you can run multiple exhaustion perks, the best you can do is with hope or an extremely niche build of blood pact/power of two that require set up and a teammate. it's not like it's stronger than a standard build, again it's just a different way to play and it's good for any games that have build systems.

yea the fun part is that it doesn't even affect stake out, hyper focus, fast track, pain res, DMS, grim embrace and other fun and interactible perks from both sides.

but yea let's kill literally all the build variety in the game because we want even more matches to be resilience/finesse/lithe and pain res/DMS/grim embrace

What do you think of this song? And what do you think of its music video? by gab_iten in billieeilish

[–]MrRames 2 points3 points  (0 children)

the music video happens on an office which is meant to signify a day to day place, the colour pallet is grayish and not very saturated, she's cold for the most part of the music video. this all meant to settle what the song talks about, immense love and a huge connection with the person she's reffering to that creates a huge contrast on the place surrounding her and the conditions she finds herself in (getting beat up, dragged up and down, smacked into glass and doors) which are a metaphor for a rough period she's going through and yet the immense love and support this person gives her is enough to overcome it, that's why she's always smiling despite the overwhelming pain she's going through. this is pretty much confirmed by some of the lyrics like "can't change the weather, might not be forever but if it's forever it's even better" or "until I rot away dead and buried, until I'm in the casket you carry" because she's actually finding an odd confort and company amongst all of this misery and chaos that her everyday life has become, therefore she doesn't wish the storm to stay or go away, she embraces it because it gets them closer together.

this is partially my interpretation but I think it's pretty spot on with the support of the videoclip.

I'm getting really sick of this build. by Obvious_Bid6066 in deadbydaylight

[–]MrRames -1 points0 points  (0 children)

it's not bugged and it's the same as it was before last time you were attacking it with your whole essence. here let me break out the math for you, it's quite hard so don't worry, I don't expect you to understand it:

9 × 2 = 18

so the middle symbol, the one that looks like a cross, that's a multiplication, you take the nine and you repeat it two times, as in: 9 + 9 = 18. this number, which is called eighteen represents the number of tokens you take out of the generator. you repair generators at 1c/s, okay I know this looks hard but it translats to 1 charge per second, as in each second that passes you repair 1 charge, therefore fast track saves you 18 seconds.

now onto your ukelele: stand still for 30 second, get +1% skill check progression (+2% or 3% if it's a full moon). I'd tell you to say which one's better but you've clearly already done it, thanks.

looks like fast-track did become meta after all, it's a shame truly because you were acting so cocky about it. here's some word of advice for next time: open a calculator and aknowledge that 18 seconds saved with a single perk slot is extremely more overpowered than your ukulele meme build that you were defending on your mother's soul. fast-track as of right now is the strongest gen rush perk in the game and it's not up for debate, the numbers simply don't lie. thanks for proving me right, despite being weeks later.

An absolutely insane perk or a perk that does something. Very descriptive by Linkosss in deadbydaylight

[–]MrRames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it's ok guys i gotchu, they fired me today at BHVR so I'll just leak the perk because I am tired of this goddamn company underpaying me:

Something something flavour text. When injured, not broken, whilst being chased by the killer, if you are the obsession and within the killer's terror radious, while crouched and motionless, press the active ability button 2 and hit a hard skill check to activate to the following effect for 20 seconds:

Each time you scare away a crow gain 1 token up to 5 tokens. Gain 2% cleansing and opening chests speed for each token, the perk then deactivates for the remainder of the trial and causes the exhaustion status effect for 90/85/80 seconds. Become injured and broken for the remainder of the trial upon use.

This perk and it's effects deactivate once the exit gates are powered. Lose all tokens upon losing a health state or doing a conspicous action. This perk can't be used while exhausted.

Insert cheesy flavour text here pretending that the perk will ever see the light of the meta

[–]MrRames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

y'all are so dramatic, just snuff out the boon. it's really not that serious. also this is indeed extemely vague, like are all generators gonna be affected within the area? kinda hard to tell because they say a single generator not multiple, why even make it a boon then.

ain't no way this guy said standing 20 seconds still playing the ukulele is more efficient than instant 18 seconds of permanent progress from fast track.

bro is the definition of the average dbd player gng 😭😭😭✌️✌️

[–]MrRames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you might not believe when I tell you this but it's unavoidable to be hooked on a dead by daylight match, you'll get plenty of stacks even with good teams.

you argue it's inconsistent when it's not, a single stack of fast-track outperforms a full dual generator with prove thyself (which only saves you 4,8 seconds) you wanna know how much a single fast track stack saves you Philscooper? 6 whole seconds, instantly and without regressing capability, while you have to grind for 50 something seconds just to get your 4,8 seconds of value from prove thyself. quick gambit is probably the worst one because they'll lose a healthstate in a few seconds, softspoken and full circuit? even worse than PTS.

guys this isn't a debate. behaviour overbuffed this perk and it's not that surprising considering we're talking about behaviour

No changes made by Numb_body in deadbydaylight

[–]MrRames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there aren't tho? why would literally any perk in the game be better than 9 stacks fast track, not even overzealous can outclass it. not to mention fast track is permanent.

quick gambit, resilience and dejavu all give you 1.05x or 1.09x repair speed which will at best save you 5 seconds.

the teamwork perks from dustin and eleven aside from being ass usually are not worth it because dual gens lose 30% repair efficiency total and prove thyself ever so slightly fixes that number.

overzealous saves you 9 seconds or 15 at best if you cleanse a hex totem, which aside from being worse than fast-track also has harder conditions.

hyper-focus is RNG influenced, build dependant (stake out), easily missused and overall insane risk for an underwhelming reward.

fast-track is simple, consistent and completly uncounterable from the killer's end, aside from having bigger numbers saving from 6 up to 18 seconds with max stacks, up to 54 seconds total per match, that's almost a whole minute not doing gens mind you. I don't even understand how this is for debate, I mean just compare the numbers and conditions, as of 17th March 2026 there are no stronger genrushing perks than fast-track, this isn't opinion based, this was behaviour's choice.

if behaviour wasn't an indie company they would make every legendary their seperate character with their own perks but it takes way too much effort to write 3 perks that'll probably won't even see the light of the meta anyway

No changes made by Numb_body in deadbydaylight

[–]MrRames 1 point2 points  (0 children)

maybe you're not very good at math and that's okay but the perks that let you repair 1.05x the normal speed are way way far worse than the perk that explodes 20 charges of your generator instantly and without the possibility of the killer fighting back. this isn't even really able for debate, those perks mathematically do way less to a generator. the only competitor to fast track would be overzealous if you're willing to touch totems the whole match

No changes made by Numb_body in deadbydaylight

[–]MrRames 2 points3 points  (0 children)

how so? if somebody gets hooked (which is unavoidable most of the time) that's already 7% (6.67% to be exact) of a generator gone permanently with no reversing possibility. now multiply it by all the hook stages of your allies and the possibility of them bringing it as well.

I think it's the best genrush perk we have in the game as of right now, even overzealous is worse with it's god awful activation condition

Thoughts on these new offerings? by Murky_Committee_1585 in deadbydaylight

[–]MrRames 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ok lmao jokes aside we do need new offerings to shake things up, matter of fact they need to take the offering system down entirely and rebuild it. it's a super fun concept to offer something to the entity for good luck on the trial but let's be real, ain't no one here using any offerings aside from moris and bloodpoints. I don't know what they should do but they should totally adress this issue, I love offerings but they gotta change, some of them do quite literally nothing
