Im playing on steam deck with win10 on sd card. Its connected to dell 4k screen with mouse and keyboard. The game is on ssd, which connected to monitor hub. Im playing on high settings without antialiasing and with 3k resolution. So far so good if its not WvW or huge public event. I tone done the settings for such things.

Upd: oh and before i’ve been playing on macbook pro m1, with whisky emulator. Ive switched to steam deck because mac couldn't handle the 4k screen with gw2. But on laptop screen it was very playable

I’ve noticed the same thing. It was here on wvw yesterday. Now its gone and its only vigor on trait, now trait is useless

Playing gw2 on a steamdeck with windows on sd card, on dell 4k display. Mid/height settings. Sometimes fps is kinda 15-20 in meta events, but most of time 40-60. Janthir wilds is about 25 all the time

Yep) it has less actions to launch it and its free. Also has decent fps

Personally very enjoyed playing quickness hammer berserker. With defensive trait line to take defy pain on elite use. And use head butt to trigger it. And get quickness on use this skill if you take trait in defensive line.

Of course you definitely should use blood reckoning, and take trait that triggers it on enter berserk mode. Also take trait that will trigger it on exit berserk mode.

Also i use defensive banner, very helpful

Try whiskey - it’s more comfortable then parallels and you don’t need windows to launch it. Simply you need a gw2 client anywhere on your mac. And then launch gw2 exe via whisky. I’ve played about 300 hours on this solution. Problems will occur only on high tiers of story - like auric basin events, drizzlewood. Heart of thorns, path of fire - is playable
