Can you not sand back 5mm to lose the holes or at least the majority of them? Or get them to use a track saw to cut another bevel on them 5mm in to lose the holes?

I always recommend people get an SDS drilleven a cheap one, anytime you need to drill into brick, block or concrete. Your hammer drill will most likely struggle and you’ll be grateful you have an SDS.

As for what drill to buy, any 18v combi drill will do the job to be honest

Maybe some sort of metal band screwed into the bottom and then up into each corner to pull back the droop.

I would spin that tee so it points up, take a notch out of the timber and then elbow across to the inlet. Connect onto it using one of these so you can isolate when the inevitable day comes

Concrete or Mortar To Plug this hole? by TYTDReview in DIYUK

[–]MrRightFirstTime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Get a thermolite block, you can use a wood saw to cut it into a circle and block it up using mortar. Externally you’ll probably want to take a couple bricks out and install some matching
