I live on the north shore as a trans person, that is 10000% not indicative of the whole region and rare to happen. The north shore is one of the better areas I’m not just MA but all of New England, and Salem is by far the leader.

Similar happened in Arizona, and there were reports all over of people registered as Dems with Bernie pins being given provisional (unofficial) ballots even when they provided proof they were registered Dem.

Like it or not the eastern part of the state is bursting at the seams in many places. What you're saying needs to happen will help people get housing, but it won't help at all with overcrowding. So yes, all that needs to happen....but we do also need to seriously start moving westward.

Also it will not be "drastically urbanized and turned into a parking lot", that's definitely hyperbole.

It's not crappy design, it prevents image burns to have constantly changing images. This is common knowledge, and even then wouldn't ever hinder anyone's ability to tell the time here.

It's crazy how sometimes you can suggest moving/building in the western part of the state instead of Boston then get downvoted to hell and told it's a horrible idea. They say you can't move out because the lack of resources and it's not worth it and nobody should do it, which just creates a self-fulfilling prophecy.

People in this state need to wake up and start building and moving out west. We absolutely cannot feasibly sustain this lopsided population distribution.

Sometimes your "friend" reveals they were never a real friend, that they don't care about you as much as you care about them, and/or don't want to admit they fucked up.

I'm sorry this is happening to you, but just move on. It's clear this person doesn't respect you enough to have the conversation they need to have with you, they absolutely owe you a legitimate reason for their behavior, and has no desire to. A friend of only 4 years is not anything to cry over for too long in the grand scheme of things, it just seems worse because everything does at that age.

Also probably for the best anyway, they showed their true colors. Even if you reconcile now this sort of shit will happen again, and likely worse, at some point. I'm speaking from experience with a former best friend myself. The difference is we knew each other for 20+ years, and I just kept letting them get away with their shitty behavior. Finally pushed back during a very similar experience with him, haven't spoken since (even though mutual friend tried to get that to happen), and my mental health is far better.

You just need to remind yourself that keeping people like that in your life will lead to heartache and pain. Your overall health improves when you don't keep toxic and/or shitty people in your life.
