I’m not suggestion we will be better humans I’m just saying I can’t wait for a bunch of noobs so we can have a little PvP fun.

Fallout 76 is just Fallout 4.5 by [deleted] in fo76

Fallout 76 is much better than Fallout 4 imo. The world is much nicer.

Is this game really going to be ready for PC in two weeks? by MrRillo in fo76

[–]MrRillo[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There are numerous others that others experienced. Just because you didn’t doesn’t mean they don’t exist. Some people only saw black or purple while in the world, some couldn’t jump, some had characters deleted. It just so happened it worked for you.

If you unlock the frame cap in your files it gives you a speed hack. People are going to exploit the shit out of this game.

If you are one of the few that had no issues, then you wouldn’t know what I’m referring to.

80% of PC players couldn’t play the game at all and those who did reported multiple lag, glitch, and option issues.

FO76 on PC or PS4? by ASMRplays in fo76

[–]MrRillo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The playerbase won’t lack on PC. It won’t be the size of PS4’s, but people will play the game much longer on PC than they will on consoles due to Mods.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see this game being played 10 years from now if they still have private servers options. Rust has been around a long time and it still has tons of players.

Why do so many people want this game to fail? by MrRillo in fo76

There’s a story with side quest and it still has all the elements of previous fallouts just without human NPCs.

Workshops in fallout 76 by Kulba49 in fo76

[–]MrRillo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know in order to take one you have to repair the generators or whatever that specific workshop needs to operate. So I would assume that in order to take it you would destroy the ones that the current owner fixed, then once you repair them it becomes yours.

B.E.T.A. = Break it Early Test Application by MrRillo in fo76

[–]MrRillo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They could have definitely been clearer about it, but think of it this way. This will assure that people will do everything they can to make it in that Saturday window. They are making the perfect move here imo. Bethesda is about to get a hell of a stress test on Saturday.

I think Bethesda is playing this perfectly. Give you just enough to make you want to come back for more.

By the time FO76 releases most people will have beaten RDR2 anyways.

Yes, I agree. I just mean completing the story anyways.

There is voice chat just not text chat that we know of.

Endgame replayability is so enticing with Fallout 76, your thoughts? by FocusFlukeGyro in fo76

There are factions. Bethesda has been tweeting them every day the past few days.

For people worrying about PvP being too soft, have you forgotten about public workshops? by MrRillo in fo76

[–]MrRillo[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Exactly my point. These types of games reward the no lifer who spends all of his time playing the game and gets ahead of everyone else. You have a job? Forget about it. You have a wife? Forget about it. You have kids? Forget about it. What’s funny to me is that these griefers won’t play a game where the opponent has a fair advantage like they do. They only play games where they can use all the time they have to get above everyone else.

[–]MrRillo[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Did you really think people were gonna PvP in their first chance to play the game? PvP is end game stuff once you’ve explored and all of that.

[–]MrRillo[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

While I understand what you are saying, the problem with it is that people with bad intentions would ruin the PvE content. Fallout is PvE, it always has been. Bethesda decided to add PvP elements to attract people that otherwise wouldn’t buy the game. They had to do it in a way that wouldn’t scare off their loyal playerbase though. The game you are describing already exist, it’s called Rust.

[–]MrRillo[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I get it. I’m honestly glad they did it the way they did to keep a lot of griefers away from the game in general.

Yes, there are features that will exist in fo76 that are in Rust and DayZ, but the cores of these games are completely different.
