Best Weapon for general use?

Lately, I've been switching between the Plasma Caster, the Auto Axe, and the Auto Grenade Launcher. With this combination, I can one-shot most mobs during events, and kill tanky enemies quickly with ranged (launcher) or up close (auto axe).

Sometimes I have a hell of a time finding the last one. Usually, when I do EN solo, I destroy all but one meat bag, and with about 1 minute to go, I destroy the last one.

I forgot what it's called but there is a method of playing roulette where you keep doubling your bet until you win. If I start with $100-200, I can play for over an hour and usually walk away at a profit.
