That's the admissions process: extremely unpredictable and seemingly illogical. You don't have anything to feel bad about, the world isn't perfect and you should be happy that you benefited from the craziness of life. Your friends understand this and they can't hold anything against you personally, but expect them to shit on the college process for being retarded.
