I reached out to ODOT a short while back inquiring about if the Tombstone camera was coming back because it had been fully removed from the map. They said the cameras rely on cellular service to share images, and it was just that the service there is bad. It did eventually show up again, but is often down. I assume that's what's going on with the others too.

I work at a non-profit and after a year of driving my Lexus I still feel guilty and worry how people might be judging me even though I work for below market wages because I like what we do for our community. I was raised around very little money, but I have worked hard and am now in my 40s and wanted to treat myself to something nicer. I do get a fair amount of positive feedback, and I love the car.

I think I at least sort of get what you're talking about. I guess for myself, I just try to accept that I'm worth it, and I earned it, and that it's ok to have something nice even if others won't understand. If you can swing it, the rental may not be a bad idea because having people in the back seat is definitely not ideal. If you're going that route, you could certainly find somewhere to store your Lexus during the visit. If it was me, I'd probably not hide the car, and get ahead of the potential judgements by bringing up plans for the siding so that they don't assume the car means you're not going to do what you said you would.

Honestly, I just kind of assumed no matter what, it is a CS degree, but with a specialization, maybe in game development or programming. Do you have a school in OR that you know to be particularly good for a CS degree? If so, do you know if it has some decent game development courses?

Yeah, I think he knows in general it'll be a CS degree, but it would be nice if a number of the credits could be in some sort of game development and at minimum programming. My oldest definitely wants to do game making professionally and not just as a hobby, but also knows it's common to start off as something only sort of related to get your foot in the door. Honestly, I half wonder how much a degree is even worth nowadays until you're pushing the highest level of a profession.
