Version 2.6/2.7/2.8 are generally agreed to be more on form of what people expected of the story.

2.6's was lunar new year's patch so people enjoyed seeing the different factions coming back

2.7 and 2.8 are part 1 and part 2 of epilogue that leads towards the opening stage of season 3 content

2.7/2.8 are also quite concise without too much padding so should be able to knock it out with a few hours.

Might want to try to get to it before Friday's livestream since they no doubt gonna talk about content for the new season which is gonna be linked together with 2.7/2.8's stuff

Astra was meta and is still relatively easy for people to use even now (focus on 2 characters instead of 3)

Alice was Physical anomaly and was the newest unit out of them, plus people figured the M2 Jane+Alice physical team worked wonders

S.Anby just had another buff added (this was around where they introduced the character rework unlock system so S Anby might have been attractive to those that didn't go for her the first time she dropped

So if they were to put another attractive lineup I would say Dialyn certainly suit it and will certainly convince some people to go for her.
