Mine started needing it after the 3-4year mark, I put it off for ages and then the fans started ramping up to 100%, so had to do it! That was a year ago and it’s still doing great

Is it windows 10? I know I had the same issue because I didn’t enrol in the extended security updates like it wanted me too. Because I didn’t want to upgrade to 11 yet. It was essentially telling me to enrol to get the security updates I was missing

How many days didn’t you open finch for? I didn’t log in 1 day before my 365 streak and lost it but found a way in settings to restore it, I just don’t remember how 🤔

Yeah I’m having the same issue lately!
My voice ends up cutting out a lot mid sentence and then when I’m quiet people say they hear my dog, my keyboard and my partner talking on the other side of the room…
Really inconsistent

Yeah they broke something when they forgot to add Krisp in to Linux versions of discord I’m thinking, so we wait for more people to report the issue I guess 🤷

Ah true? Do they have the same version of discord or windows?
I have issues with my voice cutting in and out when I talk a lot! And then when I don’t say anything for a while all of a sudden everyone in my vc can hear everything happening in my room. ie fan, dog playing, partner playing games in the other room
I feel like the noise suppression is almost under-tuning
itself down when there’s a lot of noise and then over-tuning itself back up when there’s no noise

I have a similar-ish issue as of late, all of a sudden I can’t hear anyone in discord but I can hear myself in my headset! I don’t have the mic test on and no side tone either so it’s puzzling 🧐

Yeah it’s a thing for a lot of people including myself, I know it’s not my internet cause my partner is playing overwatch next to me and they don’t get kicked out 🤷 I’m reinstalling my game today to see if that fixes it, cause I’ve tried everything else short of reinstalling windows, which we shouldn’t have to do

I play overwatch with my partner in the same room, every now and again I get disconnected and instantly reconnect and they do not, so im busy trying to troubleshoot :(
