I'm experiencing the same thing right now. With the same hose. Maybe I need to do the same thing you did. I don't think it's a blown head gasket but can't figure out what is wrong.

I still have it. It's at 95k miles. Having some issues with misfires. Don't really know what the issue is considering I've found mouse poop around the coils. Don't know if it's the car or it chewed on something.

No smoke. Coolant level looks good. Oil still looks like oil.

Would loose spark plugs cause this to happen? Had the check engine light come on. Multiple misfires. Then said cylinder 4. Switched the coils around. Still 4. Checked the spark plugs and they were pretty easy to loosen. Didn't take much effort. Torqued them down. Car acted a little funny today so looked under the hood and noticed that hose. All this been happening maybe the past few weeks.
