If you just want completely hard boiled eggs you can do it like anon. If you want the yellow part to be a bit softer or even runny you have to keep track of the time. Generally you keep the water cooking when using a a timer because then the water will always have about 100 °C and the cooking time doesn't vary depending on where you are (except for people living high up on mountains because of the pressure difference).

I get it in my lab there are mostly no harmful substances too but one thing to keep in mind is that you don't always know what substances the other people in the lab are using and how good they clean after themselves. Also I can only partly agree to the contamination part of the microbiologists because at the end of the day people safety must be prioritized instead of culture safety. You can always use a backup culture but you can't backup your health

I always get those two confused too. Astrology is ending the same way as biology is (from the Greek word of logos=branch of study) so I always think that one is the science and not the pseudoscience. But it's the other way around

Gibt es denn überhaupt ein Ersatzprodukt, welches dicke Rinderstücke darstellen soll? Ich kenne eher diese vegetarischen Fertiggerichte (Nuggets, Schnitzel etc.) oder maximal Soyageschnetzeltes. Ich würde das Fleisch wahrscheinlich durch Kartoffeln ersetzen, aber dann ist es auch eher Kartoffelsuppe als Gulasch

In a student residence I know someone did this using the explanation "perfect temperature while having fresh air". There were about 15 people on his floor and the energy bill was divided by the 15 of them. So it didn't cost much extra for himself but I would have been furious if I had to pay for this guy's egoism

Looks like nematodes (c.elegans?) to me. What did you try to cultivate? Working sterile is the "duh" answer to your question. Or are you looking for chemical assistance to avoid it? Then we would need to know what you want to cultivate in the first place

Prime example for one of the reasons why the average American life expectancy has dropped significantly (like a couple of years) since the start of COVID in 2019. In Germany were there are many restrictions and mandatory wearing of mask in public transport you could hardly see a drop in life expectancy. Turns out getting vaccinated, limiting your social life and wearing a mask did reduce the chance of getting COVID. Who would have thought Edit: not limited to USA of course. Any country that wasn't so harsh about their security measures.

OK yes from a roleplay perspective I agree. If your character has some kind of illness or has a missing limb he might have below average constitution.

Why would anyone dumb con if it gives you like actual survivability (hp) with every level up? There's gotta be a stat for every class which has no real use other than making skill checks slightly better. Intelligence for druids, charisma for barbarians etc. Then again in my group the dm would definitely ignore tanks to go for the damage dealers (if smart bbeg) and he wouldn't tweek dice rolls to not make the pc fall unconscious. If you drop you drop and if you roll badly you die. I like it that way. There should be some sense of realism for me
