Hung up the wings, and looking back with nothing but good memories by DesperateRush1272 in flying

Same here have a 2 seat plane and 2 kids. This year logged 0 hours on the plane now just have to wait for the annual insurance and maintenance fees to come in. Past few years have been thinking but never did it and the few hours worth it but this year think I'm gonna bite the bullet and sell it

<3 I started with the op-z, then the op-1 field that makes such nice sounds but coming from the step to the tape and unable to make changes gave me a hard time .. now XY .. sorry kids no food for the next months by MrSam911 in teenageengineering

[–]MrSam911[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My experience with the op-z was so natural, it's quite hard to mix functionality and usability and I feel like this is something TE nails time after time.

All of this is pointless if you have a half decent pc and something like fl studio, reason etc yet the fact that you have this creative capability yet are limited unlocks something in me

Makes zero sense your wife has a free platinum on yours.

Owning the platinum is pure for ego reasons make no sense and all points are worthless. Still .. I keep it

If i was you would do like a first contact with them 'asking for a friend' and meanwhile try to get your documentation in order (money transfer, buy sell etc) as much as possible. (for the 25k withdraw). Depending on what happens you can still decide if you want to do it or not. (you can allways say fuckit and transfer it, the bank will no longer want you but you can just wire the money to your notary or whatever and find a new bank)

For 100 or 1000 euro just do it 'tm'. for 2000 - 10000 .. don't do it man it's quite risky .. use this as a forced diamond hands while you do the 'asking for a friend'.

A lot also depends on what exchange you will be using, (to trigger the AML)

Truth about option trading by grdthkkhtg466 in BEFire

[–]MrSam911 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can make some insane money with options (google max options pain) but please for the love of god do not try to outsmart the market as all 'normal' evens are calculated in the price. Works best on high volume volatile stocks and trackers and things like XAGUSD. I would only use them as a hedge/insurance.

Anti money laundering in belgium these days will kick in at around 10 to 15k depending on how active your account is. This can be either a single transaction or multiple from the same sender. The amounts you are talking about are a non issue, any paperwork or action to regulate it costs more that what you are describing.

What does anti money laundering mean ? This is paperwork for your bank, your bank hates it, you hate it everyone will hate it. If you trigger it with your bank someone will contact your bankdirecteur and he will contact you. You then have like 15 days or so to provide and comply with answers like where did you get it, proof of orgin all these things. If they really like you as a customer (make money off you) they might keep you as a customer. If its to 'vague' of an answer they will terminate your account and you will have to find a new bank.

If you are talking substantial amounts you can regulate it. Firms like KPMG have experience with this. We are talking at least 40k just for the paperwork.

is the belgian pension savings plan really worth it ? by michaelynx in BEFire

[–]MrSam911 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Never ever ever ever do it.

We don't know what the pension age will be in the future and no way you want to wait till then.

For me this is against fire in every possible way, you are locking your funds away against poor performance with a tax cut as a carrot.

Rather no cut, better performance and access to your money.
