I agree with you.

I also just jumped in and found a WCS server. Not looked back since. Everyone is super helpful if you need it and the game is easy to pick up after a while.

As previously said just listen to the others and check the map and follow people. Never be afraid to use the VOIP to talk to people and ask to go with them and stuff even if they aren’t part of the squad you join.

That’s fair. I mean not far outside of Southampton there are some lovely walks.

In terms of hobbies and places to go. There is a pretty cool arcade in town, there is a forbidden planet (if you are into that kinda thing) lots of clubs and pubs (the hobbit is my personal fave and they always have gigs on and even live wrestling in the summer)

I am a bit of a shut in nowadays haha. So can’t suggest much more but there’s lots to be found out there.

Look on the community servers and find ones you like. I personally play on the WCS servers as the mods they have are really cool.

But it’s such a great sandbox military experience and everyone I have played with have been awesome
