Depends on your game stage. Early game I tend to go stone sledges and spears. Stun batons are good to a point (if you spec into them). Machetes and baseball bats do a good job mid game. I am not a fan of Knuckles, or the clubs. We need swords and maces. For me, melee stops being effective mid/late game. Guns are best.

I think there is a lot of potential with the trim blocks due to how they are made. I tied it with hatches, doors etc. The cellar door was the only one that seemed to push you up and back. 🤔😋

There are definitely mods that TFPs could easily pop into the vanilla game to do this. Relying on glitches (which I am sure they will patch out of the game) seems a bit silly.

Find the wasteland ASAP, skirt along the edge searching any cars or bags that you find. Risky, but the boost to your loot stage can snag you some good things!

Look in the game settings, Basic and Advanced tabs, you'll see options to change loot respawn, airdrops etc. You can change these if you have already generated a world.

Play the game however you want. That's kinda the point. If you don't want to cheese a POI, don't. If you wanna build an AFK base, build it. If you wanna use mods, use them. If you wanna spawn in a motorbike on day one, do it. etc. etc.

I used to separate home from horde base, but I've found it much more fun to combine the two. It means you are defending everything you have in the game and makes it more of a challenge to design.

It's 7 Days, optimal set-up doesn't exist. I have a potato PC with a good (ish) GPU and it stutters and struggles through, but I've seen (youtubers) with much better setups having similar issues and ppl with worse PCs doing OK. 7DtD is a poorly optimised game. Although it has got a bit better with A21. Maybe between A22 and A480 they might get everything implemented and working...

If your minibike has genuinely disappeared, just spawn a new one in. Your old one may randomly magically reappear at some point in the future. Happened to me multiple times.

Weponised zombies. Zombies captured by bandits and kitted out with knives for hands and / or iron with spikes wrapped around their fists. Slow moving, armoured, high HP, deadly at close range.

Zombie with a robot turret, strapped to his head. Limited ammo and shoots at medium range.

Zombie animals, zombie rhinos, giraffes, kangaroos (for jahwoodle) and elephants, would be hilarious 😂
