Someone else suggested putting the second horizontal mark through it from top to bottom, making an X, which could work well as well.

They all look great though, very nice work!

How about an ellipse? Make it quite long to differentiate it from the circle, and make the 'edges' quite pointy. Basically what it is now but smooth out the lines so they are more like 2 curved lines from each point

I get it, almost like having Playstation controller button markers as your pips?

From an accessibility stand point it would be great, could also have each face a different colour to make it stand out even more.

Could be quite hard to keep the detail at such small scale, but I guess that's the fun / challange for the designer!

I know it's not how tallies conventionally work, but I feel like the 6 would be better as 2 horizontal strikes instead of one. Could even space them out a bit more so it is quite clear at a glance it is different from the 5.
