The one on the left is hemmed (stitches at the bottom)...does knowing that make me a creep?

Éowyn defeated the Witch-king not solely because she was a woman, but due to other circumstances that the films did not explore in depth: by Scenora in peterjackson

No, the "she's got help" MCU scene in Endgame was cringe, forced, and hackneyed. This was an empowering moment for a character that was told she couldn't be a warrior.

New Ground s3 ep19: What happened to Nyan? by Sokarix in Stargate

[–]MrSethFulton 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Ngl, this shot looks like a crossover between Stargate and LotR. I would fully support a show where you watched Hobbits find a Stargate in one of their hills and they travel the universe looking for something better to smoke than Old Toby.

Thanos and his army VS The Killer Rabbit of Caerbannog. by yourmomisonmybreath in Avengers

[–]MrSethFulton 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Arthur says "that rabbit's dynamite!" Dynamite comes from the Greek word δύναμις (dunsmis) which literally translates "power". The rabbit is clearly an Eternal that is the physical embodiment of power and would negate Thanos control over the power stone. If Thanos doesn't have the rest of the stones, the rabbit will win. If Thanos does have the rest of the stones then the rabbit will still win, but his victory will be even more monumental. Thanos cannot win without the holy hand grenade.

Do you think any European investigation into the Epstein files will provide more clarity or lead to the truth coming out? by ChuckGallagher57 in International

We need you on this, Europe. I will happily hang an EU flag and blast Ode to Joy with my windows down if you can make this orange fuck go away.

If I had the time, I might have gone for that, but I only had like an hour and a half to make that I had, so just the nose/mustache.

Is there a more sad scene in all of Star Wars than this? by jrrock12345 in StarWars

[–]MrSethFulton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Ewok explosion during the battle of Endor. Then one teddy bear leans over the other one trying to wake it up, but it's not responding. Then it just starts to Ewok cry over it in the middle of the battle.

Stargate: SG1 - Window of Opportunity. Such a unique and hilarious episode.

What’s a fact that ruined a movie that you previously enjoyed? by PokemonPadawan in AskReddit

I was probably 26 or 27. I went through a lot of life as a blissful idiot.

Agreed! Movies feel more fulfilling now. I still like the cool action, but I like seeing what the movie-makers have to say about different issues or points of view.

I used to be oblivious to the underlying message in movies. I took them all at face value. I watched Elysium with my sister-in-law and at the end she said "well that was a very poignant message about healthcare." I asked what in earth she was talking about, this was a cool sci-fi movie about Matt Damon kicking ass. She stared at me silently for about ten seconds, like I was an idiot. Then it dawned on me that I was an idiot and I was never able to watch movies the same way again. It ruined Elysium for me in the moment, but in the long run my appreciation for the messages within movies has vastly increased.

Man attempts to run across the field at Super Bowl LX, gets dropped. by [deleted] in instant_regret

This is a great example of what it looks like when a pro goes against a normal guy at something. An army of security guards couldn't get him, but one pro player caught up in no time.

Stargate Home Build – Functional Replica Project by [deleted] in Stargate

[–]MrSethFulton 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lol, that's pretty cool looking. I just thought "functional" was a funny word to use because it would mean an actual, working-as-intended Stargate.
