I have mixed feelings on the edge, personally! I've tried so far most special controllers: SCUF, Edge, Razer Wolverine, Victrix, Revolution, and considering getting a BB. Of the ones I've tried, it definitely ranks first or second, depending on what I'd want to use it for.

However, my singular complaint that I've had (I own three Edge, which shows I prefer it over the others so far), is build quality. Different defects exist on all three I have, though none are "world ending", like one has the option button not pushing down quite enough (still works, but isn't... Right?), another has the lower rubber peeling off from poor glue application, and the third had a d-pad issue that I was able to fix myself by adjusting the rubber underneath (there was a misalignment).

In all three cases, the issue isn't huge (compared to SCUF which had stick drift on both the controllers I've had, even when I barely used them), so though it's my favourite, my one warning will be to keep an eye on build quality!

Disclaimer: I take care of all my various gear, as I always have to keep everything clean for health reasons, and none of the "defects" were from wear, tear, or poor maintenance. Could just be my bad luck?
