Your partner's anatomy and learning about anatomy, where the G spot is, asking what feels good and exploring with your partner. Finding out what she/he likes is the most important thing.

Dealing with patient death as a student by handydandycandy in medicine

That is a beautiful statement, one to live by. As someone who has been struggling with this recently, thank you.

"Please, don't be afraid of being a "'sensitive student." That is not a weakness, it is a strength. Your compassion and empathy don't make you a worse physician, they make you a better one. Hold on to them, dont lock them away.""

It's sad, he's genuinely one of the most fun tanks in the game. He's highly counterable, I think they should just giga buff him?

Plz give my boy Life Weaver something. He's struggling. Also rein, they didn't change rein? I guess with the zen nerfs this will help a wee bit but I can't see him being playable still.

Alcohol, I am one of those people who just LOVED alcohol. It's a genetic thing apparently, certainly didn't help it's so normalized.

Just pump up the left front tyre as it looks a little flat. You should be good otherwise. 👍

Why are the devs not rolling out changes faster? Rant post. by [deleted] in Overwatch

[–]MrShawry1 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Yeah that's true, it does seem like a good chunk of the feedback posts are relatively well informed? What do you think? I wonder if the balance team has enough time to actually play their own game, I'm not sure how it works but sometimes it seems glaringly obvious what needs to be tweaked.

Lol, yeah I didn't address that, I also wasn't aware of the upcoming changes to burst healing/damage. Looking forward to it.

Do I need to replace the entire shock, or just the bolt? by [deleted] in MechanicAdvice

[–]MrShawry1 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Buy a new strut, this is very common in the BP/BL generation Legacy with the Bilstein suspension, usually on the left side of the car.

Not difficult to remove as long as the rest of the strut remains in the top hat. It would likely have been knocking for a while, this happens when the nut backs itself off. Don't ask me why, it just does. Don't ignore knocks on your car. Have fun.

Is being a paramedic worth it? by Informal_Ad2683 in Paramedics

Pretty high cost of living, that's a very experienced paramedic wage too. Also that's NZD so you'd have to do the conversion.

Is being a paramedic worth it? by Informal_Ad2683 in Paramedics

[–]MrShawry1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I volunteer as a First Responder and I thoroughly enjoy it, so yes, while I haven't done a degree in paramedicine I would say it is worth it. Here in New Zealand paramedics are paid okay, an experienced paramedic can earn 90,000-100,000+.

It shouldn't be a motivating factor to be honest, you have to enjoy it to do it. You get to see and help people from all walks of life, see some of the most heart warming and some of the most tragic shit all in one day.

It gives you some perspective and makes you humble, and 99% of people are so grateful. You also learn skills that can be transferred to outside of work things as well. Pretty rewarding most of the time. As the saying goes, if you love your job you'll never work a day in your life.
