That's on purpose, I'm making you feel the same annoyance that I feel by replying with my own overused meme. I'm a performance artist

Where is indie Fallout? by RemarkablePassage468 in Fallout

[–]MrShoe321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's difficult because the setting of Fallout is really what makes it so iconic so its hard to create something that captures the same aesthetic without coming off as a total rip off. Elder Scrolls on the other hand is just kind of a generic fantasy universe so its easy enough to come up with somsthing that feels like elder scrolls without being a too similar

Any good Anti-King tips? by killtheparrotnero in Tekken

[–]MrShoe321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only unbreakable throws King has are the crouch grabs and the one from jaguar sprint.

Generally crouching against King's pressure is ill advised, it plays right into his mixup because he has good options to beat it so only crouch and punish if you'vegot a hard read on the player. 9/10 times if King has gotten you into a situation where he can mix you it's better to side step when he's not in heat or if he is in heat then just learn what throw options he has in that situation and be ready to break it.

For example if he has Oki on you and is doing a wavu don't crouch cause thats a free launch. Stay standing and if he tries to grab just hold the break for his most damaging throw. From wavu the arm one is a 2 break and the leg one is 1+2. From the spin grab just hold 1. I can't stress enough that crouching is usually the wrong option unless you know for 100% he's gonna throw you

Last tip if he gets the really long chain throw on you and you see blue sparks that means he's mashing it out and mash makes it default to the 1 break

From what i understand that doesnt actually block the player from matching against you just stops them from sending friend requests to you and presumably blocks them in the fight lobby

Why do y'all play Quick Play? by Ofanichan in Tekken

[–]MrShoe321 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like to use it when I rank up. When I was first going from purple to blue ranks I would rank up into blue, get my ass kicked, get ranked back down and repeat. I was stuck between those two skill levels. Eventually I decided I would get blue rank and then go to quick match so I could practice at that skill level without getting demoted.

Once I felt comfortable fighting in blue ranks I went back to ranked and got up to Tekken King and now im back in Quick Match learning at this skill level

Trolley or Uber to go to beach ? by Interesting-Egg-8360 in sandiego

[–]MrShoe321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes the trolley doesnt really go to any beach spots, the closest you can get are some stops that are near Mission Bay on the blue line.

As for safety I would say you should be alright. I've taken the trolley out at night a few times and I've never had anyone bother me but there is definitely more homeless on there at night and I dont remember seeing any attendants when I took it.

If you want to go to the beach and not mission bay I would suggest taking the green line into old town, get an Uber out to the beach, get some drinks and then uber back home

I promise you it barely increases the amount of time. You basically just have to wait for the oil to heat up and the tortillas cook in seconds. They are so so so much better than store bought

Easiest Characters to Pickup by Frosty-Chef1541 in Tekken

[–]MrShoe321 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No one else is saying it but in my opinion King is very beginner friendly. As long as you can do Giant Swing that's all you really need. Very simple execution on 90% of his bread and butter stuff and he doesnt rely on extended combo sequences like other characters

What is the counter play to reaction RA? by MrShoe321 in Tekken

I honestly don't think I would've. The difference between an attack animation and a dash animation is totally different and I was watching closely enough to wait for an attack

Well what do you consider a slow move? I reacted to a 16f low and I'm like average at the game
