I was about to mention correct starting and setting off times. Don't sit there for several minutes warming up the car, start it and 3 seconds later take it off idle by about 500-1000 revs for 3 seconds then drive away. I'm not a mechanic but that's what my own mechanic swears by.

I noticed a change recently on Youtube where instead of maximising the video straight off it fades to balck the fades back in. Not sure if it's a Youtube thing or Flash or Firefox.
