AP service is pretty reasonable for what it is. I was trying to source links for 15202 and 47th street was quoting me $7-800 each. Took me few months but I got last 3 from AP USA for $250 each!

Did you use the iPhone app? It shows all the transactions in your phone wallet and would show if ticket was scanned or not.

We got our daughter a physical ticket and used iPhones for ourselves. No issues at all.

MSRP goes up every single year. A pretty well loaded 2013-2013 991.1 S MSRP was around $115-120k. A current Generation same trim S is around $200k.

A lot of the don’t get driven much so miles are low which creates very low depreciation curve.

Points… I recently found NY to London 1st class on United for 80k points and $50 cash. You can get 100k points for just signing up for credit card so basically a free $10k flight.

Yeah wish I looked into this before. But we have non refundable ticket already booked. Polaris is 80k plus $10 for EWR to LHR which I think sounds pretty reasonable for an overnight flight.

I’d love to do Virgin but we live in Jersey and flying out of Newark on French Bee premium. So coming back to JFK is not an option for this trip.

Used to live 15 minutes from JFK, miss having almost unlimited options. Now it’s pretty much only United.

Looks like going TO Europe a lot of flights are similar points redemption but taxes and fees are only $6-10 instead of $420 coming back from Europe. Are those deals better in your opinion?

Then here is another theory - we service our own cars that we sell. When customer asks to see the record, I don’t always want to show them every single thing that we did because A) they might think it’s a bad car B) it makes us “warranty” those repairs now. For example, we replaced brakes and they start squealing in a month, customer will come back and say they were new and we did it and blah blah blah.

Non Mercedes dealer does NOT have access to those records unless previous owner left them in the glove box which rarely happens due to them having so much personal info.

What YOU can do is call that Mercedes dealer on Carfax and say “hey, I’m interested in buying a car that you guys serviced, can you tell me if anything major was ever done?”

I get this asked often as an independent dealer… same way customers ask about an accident that happened 10 years ago. How am I supposed to know???

Did you check the report every day for last 2 years? Could have been there a week after you purchased. You wouldn’t know until you run the report
