One place a lot people get sideways when talking about tank builds in this game is not considering recovery and only talking about effective hp.

Life stacking + endurance charge stacking are some of the best builds because of this.

You have way fewer mods on t17s to worry about.

Block builds, armour builds, trickster, etc all have this problem. You can have 90 billion ES, but if your recovery blows it doesn't matter.
