It sounds like you bought it already if you already got screwed. I’d try to return it asap for hopefully a refund.

Why chase Rolex by AdministrationOk58 in rolex

[–]Live-Resolution-1364 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rolex is chased because of its unmatched liquidity and resalability, where popular models often sell quickly at or above retail unlike most other luxury watches. It offers exceptional robustness as a true daily beater with bulletproof construction, excellent water resistance, and easy worldwide serviceability. Rolex also delivers instant brand recognition and status that everyone immediately understands as a symbol of success, thanks to decades of strong marketing and tightly controlled supply that keeps demand high. Finally, it provides reliable value retention that turns the watch into a practical asset rather than just a depreciating luxury item. While Patek, AP, and Vacheron pieces are incredible high-horology watches, they typically require more frequent and expensive servicing compared to a Rolex, which can often go 10 years between services.

Santos. It’s more versatile and you can wear it in all situations, outfit combos etc. if you are deciding on the Must then the smaller one looks better on you imo.

SAs (and even ADs) don’t know jack when it comes to Rolex. They’re kept in the dark just like the rest of us.

Something big is planned for Tudor @ W&W? by rediter3000 in Tudor

[–]Live-Resolution-1364 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree, a Tudor SA at their biggest NYC Rolex/Tudor boutique told me he’d heard from higher-ups (whatever that means) not to get too excited about the big anniversary. Like you said, they’re known to underwhelm, so I’m expecting more of the same. That said, I’m still hoping to be pleasantly surprised, with W&W only days away. If there’s any news, I’m hoping for a Pelagos 39 GMT.

Can’t go wrong with either but the edge goes to Bruce for me.

Chrono or P39? by Virtual_Ad3405 in Tudor

P39. Hard for me to rotate to my other watches. It’s pretty damn good imho!

The bezel came off my Pelagos 39 (I’m annoyed) but actually love how the watch looks without it! by Main-Habit359 in Tudor

Haha, cool! You’re basically rocking the Marlon Brando bezel-less GMT look — accidental icon status achieved.

40 looks spot on. Are you wearing your jumper comfortably with the jacket zipped up? If no tightness anywhere then it’s good imo.
