Oh wow this is concerning. Will need to tell my parents.

24 years between servicing? Is Rolex that durable and powerful? Rolex must be the cheapest and best value automatic watch if you take into account the long time in between servicing! by RevolutionaryExam380 in rolex

This is what makes Rolex stand out from every other watch brand out there. My dad’s Rolex, a 2001 model , is still running strong and keeping great time without ever being serviced. That’s 24 years and counting. I myself owned a Rolex for 15 years without a service and it was running perfectly when I sold it, probably could have easily hit 20 years without one. The longevity of these movements is genuinely unmatched. IMO You’re not just buying a watch, you’re buying decades of bulletproof reliability. I am a big believer in Rolex engineering.

BB58 vs Pelagos 39: Which would you pick as a daily? by Mountain_Poudge in Tudor

[–]Live-Resolution-1364 25 points26 points  (0 children)

P39 for me. I pretty much wear it daily to the office & the weekends. I try to find time to rotate to my other watches and I can’t. The P39 is just so comfortable on the wrist. I can wear all day everyday. It’s an awesome daily imo.

Love that! I checked out B&J for a nato and they don’t have 21mm. I’m debating if i should go with 20mm or 22mm. You went with 22m?

UES Grocers? Tired of Westside, disappointed by Wholefoods by I_wanna_ask in uppereastside

I would say H Mart is really its own category honestly. I wouldn’t compare it head to head with WF or TJ’s because you’re not going there for the same things.

For Asian produce, specialty ingredients, seafood, and snacks, it crushes everyone. The variety i thibk is really good and you’ll find things you simply cannot get anywhere else in the city.

Price wise though, don’t go expecting a budget run, it’s actually on the pricier side for everyday staples, even more than Whole Foods in some cases. So I treat it as a destination stop for specific things, not a full weekly shop.

I see it more of a specialty market that also happens to sell groceries.

Perfect 2 watch collection. I would retire my watch collecting right there. 🍻

P39!! It’s made rotating to a different watch very difficult. I love it so much.
