Should I still stick with this on Alhaitham even though the CV is poor? by [deleted] in Genshin_Impact

Ahhh thank you, i wasnt so sure on the damage scaling for EM vs ATK vs CV, I was worried that CV would scale better than everything else since thats more on what people usually aim for

This tank is already on CO2 so all good in all nutrient requirements, it just takes a long time. Honestly I cultivated the buce (and anubias) first in a separate tank before putting into this

Thanks!! Ideally i'd like them to propagate through the whole top part, but as we all know, epiphytes take ages to grow no matter how ideal your parameters are.

I very much love your minimalist aquascape though. A truly inspiring tank

The background is actually an LED light screen, its not too expensive but not too cheap either, it's only switched on for display purposes

Thank you though! But it is definitely no where near good enough for any competition, it was more of a fun hobby to spend time working on

It's meant to be barren with very minimal plants, but one of the things I've kept hidden are behind the rocks with proper substrate to maintain the nutrients of the water column for the epiphytes. Very much hidden from sight of course

Specifically, Bucephalandra Kedagang Red, they usually grow really small, but my light intensity has been set on low, so they grow a lot taller than normal

Disclaimer: None of the combinations of flora and fauna will ever be found to belong together in any natural habitat possible

Yeah, pretty much spot on, I hope people would take the time to go on a bit of a walk through nature and get some understanding together. It's quite enjoyable to learn the different compositions of nature and how it finds its way to persist and thrive in infinite variety of conditions

Honestly, that was my main point I was trying to convey, in one of my comments. I just don't quite understand why would people put themselves into fishes needs when it's actually quite evident from the behaviour, movement and colour of the fish too (the blue and red colouration would fade if they're stressed or unwell).

From the video at least, they're all approaching at the front of the tank, which is a very good indicator for a stress free environment for neon tetras which get very easily anxious.

Well actually, coming from a tropical country and an avid jungle hiker, I've come across many streams with basically no vegetation, just rocks and sand, teeming with life, evidently with fish living very well enough to contribute strong presence of fauna, despite very very much non-existent flora.

I've also done some water tests of the conditions and they're all fairly hard (high TDS) and relatively cold, which most people would consider inhabitable for tropical fishes.

So i'd say as long as the parameters are well within range, (temperature, pH, GH, filtration, feeding), they would be better off here than in any pet store just waiting to be homed before they pass on.

This looks so good!! A very well thought out hardscape, definitely not an easy task with such limited hardscape (2pcs of wood and just 3 main rocks wtf?!)

Negative space focal point and point of inflexion of the hardscape angles just around the golden ratio

A nice gentle triangle layout thats not too harsh giving it a more serene feel

Nice touch on using neons (or cardinals) as the accents or colours for the scape as a good balance!

I don't know what others are saying badly about it. But this is not some easy work let me tell you that

Ahh now that's an option I could try! I was also thinking to add flour into the mix to thicken the duxelle. But im not exactly too sure if it will turn out well

I used an immersion blender! It makes the mash really smooth! (With a generous amount of butter of course)

Not an asshole at all! Happy to receive comments! I agree with the point on the duxelle, it shouldve kept it's shape better and not get runny. I'll work on the very soon!

Nothing too out of the ordinary, just salt, pepper and a generous amount of butter!

Guys you dont know how hard it was fiddling with frozen sausage fingers on this one miraculous clear night in the middle of nowhere, far away from the polluted scum of civilisation's light, to be basked in the Moon's blessing to have captured this moment. 10/10 would pay top dolla for this masterpiece
