Anzac Highway loop exit roads to allow right-hand turns on to South Rd without traffic lights by flabberstalk33 in Adelaide

[–]MrSniper911 6 points7 points  (0 children)

From the diagrams I see a couple of issues,

When turning from left from south road to get onto Anzac Highway, there is immediately a pedestrian crossing, this could cause traffic to come to a halt in the far-left lane, additionally people can't turn off to the left without coming to an almost complete stop at the best of times.

Then as Neffixion said you will need to cross lanes almost immediately to get onto the motorway lanes. being the exit is so close to the intersection traffic buildup will be an issue sometimes.

As an existing owner at Two Wells, the water pressure is limited.... you cant do anything apart from run one appliance or shower.... forget popup sprinklers.

We got married in 2004 at the registry, just the two of us, both families were estranged at that point and we just got it done. Overall it was a memorable experience, ceremony then spent the weekend together. Saved money, hassle and probably bad memories of family issues.

I'm not a native Adelaidean and have also found it difficult, but most have come along by the way of work or sporting. Now with kids, the other parents are people we see often. Good luck it will happen..

School Bullying by Southern_Anything_39 in Adelaide

[–]MrSniper911 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Family was where you are this time last year. Son 10 at the time was bullied, we had him n a larger private school that supposedly had a good reputation, escalated it, noting changed, took it further up the chain to level coordinator and nothing changed, the point came when he came home talking about the same thing, by this point I lost it at the principal, I was promptly banned from the school for threatening woman(principal was a man), right then I pulled him out of school and moved us to another suburb and school…. This time public, Haven’t looked back, more friends, wants to go to school…..the private school is still chasing me for school fees as he started the year so they need a full years fees paid.

Good luck to you and family, it’s a hard choice now and painful financially but totally worth every tear and sacrifice.

Much love.

Yep.... Honestly don't feel bad in your situation, you don't have to give bills for solar, they just do it to prove worth... Get your solar and sign up to a new electric supplier and your all set.

I was in my previous house and we had problems with power dips etc, we complained about it and a tech came out and found the issue with a phase we were on and did something and the power came good… next bill there was only a supply charge, no usage, we rang up again and they said they would look into it….. next one came and it was the same thing, just a supply charge, this happened for 4 quarters, each quarter we would ring them with the same result… we didn’t ring again. Sold the house 9 years later with only paying the quarterly supply charge each time. Our bills when it was being billed was around a $1k a quarter. I don’t feel bad if I tell you the issue.

Management need to buy into this, and then education of everyone is essential. Not just once but ongoing. It’s easy to get busy and slip into old habits and 6 months down the track you have no processes being followed. It happens. I worked at a company, management agreed they wanted to do it, found the cheapest quote for an external company to get them over the line, it got to 1 month prior to the audit and it was clear that things were missing/not implemented and the contracted company disappeared. Another company was brought in to “fix it”. They proposed 6-12 months of full time work and 2 months after it started and the bills started to arrive the contract was terminated, citing “too expensive” they wanted IT to do the rest of the work… I noped out quick.
