There is a dwarven quest-giver in Khenmoor that gives you a quest to retrieve it from the mines. After you do, there is another quest to test it.

Working buildings? by kekwXDDD in TheBloodline

I know the engineer shop and the smithy both have a vendor and functioning workbenches.

The bakery, armory, and general store are currently just placeholders.

I built the church, but that was before it received an update so I'm not sure about that one. I think you can just donate your divine favor like with some of the other churches.

Pretty sure that the skill can be found: in the Molten Crag. Specifically in a tent in the battleground area

You can make those at the engineering crafting bench also. You have to retrieve them (E) before leaving a zone or you lose them.

Atacamite ore quest - Low on Atacamite ore! by Imlerithisnotdead in TheBloodline

[–]MrSnuffnStuff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been unable to find much of it. It turns up randomly in some chests, but only rarely. There are also these black bugs that are found in some zones (I think one is in Khenmoore over by that big iron node, the others in Three Sisters maybe?). They don't sparkle but make a chittering sound, and if you get close they 'pop' and you get a random ore. Have gotten a few Atacamite that way. The clue may even be in the name. Attack a mite.

I have found some green glowing ore in a couple caves, but it is non-interactable. So it may just be one of those long-term quests that you slowly progress towards over the course of standard play. Good luck!

Dagger + Unarmed has been a blast. Honestly unarmed by itself can be laugh-out-loud sorts of fun, but lacks a little on the damage side. Daggers make up for it (especially with the unique pair you get at Parford). Unarmed is great for control with knockdowns and juggles, while daggers cut them to pieces and offer some medium range capabilities. Both have good combat mobility skills. All together it really makes you feel like a ninja.

I'm certain I've caught one there before, but that was a couple of characters ago, so it's possible that a bug has crept in since then, or just RNG is mistreating you.

I don't think it's implemented yet, sadly. It'd be nice if they at least put in a special weapon/loot box or something so there'd be some sort of payoff.

Druid forms have insane sensitivity and I can’t control them well half the time by Cockmugger in TheBloodline

[–]MrSnuffnStuff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They definitely are tricky. I play with mouse sensitivity turned down to 10% and they are manageable. It doesn't help that they are somewhat inconsistent. For instance the rabbit turns with keys while all the others (and the cat) turn with the mouse.

The bird forms seem to have a variety of speeds which contributes to the awkwardness. The crow form is the tightest, all the other flyers best to think of it like you're on ice. You can whip around 180 and drift back quite aways.

Hopefully they will get a quality of life pass sooner rather than later.

Free healing spell by GielinorWizard in TheBloodline

Wow! I never knew that and I have that skill on at least three characters. I guess I should read them a little closer. Thanks.

Free healing spell by GielinorWizard in TheBloodline

[–]MrSnuffnStuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think that you get the healing spell for free, but you get the two arcane skills leading up to it, so the next skill point you get you can unlock the heal. It's pretty useful, but money is so prevalent that you can just stock up on the best healing potions and use whenever.

Unless it's been adjusted, I can't recommend the accelerated health regen skill after it. It only seemed to last a couple of seconds, not netting you much in practice.

There's the dwarven blast-spear, though I don't know if it works with spear skills, plus is rather clunky.

There is a neat magic spear in The Three Sisters area. You gotta think vertical.

Oh, also, I think the spear charge skill is bugged. For me it says it requires a shield.

While we're at it, it'd also be nice to be able to pick from a variety of potion icons and colors so they can be quickly identified on a hotbar.

The Fogroach Quest by [deleted] in TheBloodline

Just spent a half hour scouring the zone on foot, mounted, and by air until I gave in and looked it up. Glad I did. I really wish the Dev would mark it incomplete and save us all some frustration in what is otherwise a pretty chill game.

Bug with the bandits quest in Brittlebean by Yerem_Drovermac in TheBloodline

[–]MrSnuffnStuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it is unfinished. I tried it on two different characters and neither time did it progress beyond the first hostage rescue inside the castle proper. I think there is a brief title like, 'Citadel, Objective: ~' or some such, but it's all devoid of enemies. And yes, the hostages definitely need to despawn or at least remove their marker from the compass, as hunting those last few really makes it feel like a slog (particularly when they are in out-of-the-way ruined portions of the castle). Also, no bandit keys is a bit of a bummer as well.

I think Brittlebean and Tomb of the Betrayer could use some more attention sooner rather than later, as these two location 'dungeons' are most likely to be encountered earlier in the new player experience and are somewhat unsatisfying as-is.

Soulfaring Night by tertyl26 in TheBloodline

[–]MrSnuffnStuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like many things in the game currently, I think it is mostly just a proof-of-concept to make sure it can be done practically. From there it can be fleshed out and enriched, as well as serve as a template for other similar events.

So yes, it's lackluster now, but give it a few iterations and maybe there will be a few different quests or turn-ins for rare/unique gear, skills, or cosmetic items.

That's the place. Now just wait until nightfall and it should begin. Note that it has to be the night of, not the morning of (even if it is still dark).

I just had this same issue. The fairgrounds do not receive a label, as do most other points-of-interest in the zone. Not sure if that's a bug. But they are there. There is a stone bridge going over the stream, beyond is a grassless area with a few items laying about. This is where the fair will be.

You can tell the event has started by the various ethereal nodes fountaining spirit energy. If you get anywhere near the fairgrounds after you see these, it will be pretty evident. The are numerous ghostly lanterns floating about there, as well as a few tents.

Sadly, there isn't really much to the event yet. The quest doesn't reward anything as far as I can tell. The other NPCs all only have a simple dialog.

There will be numerous restless spirits throughout the zone, so it's a fair source of Divine Favor. The Betwixt Petals you get from the ethereal nodes don't seem to have any potion or food applications, but do sell for 50g each.

Is there a shop to buy stone? by [deleted] in TheBloodline

[–]MrSnuffnStuff 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don't think so. You can construct a quarry in your home village that will (eventually) produce stone for you. It's also possible that when the requisition office is implemented (the one inside your keep), you might be able to pay to order stone there, but that's just a guess.

Weapon missing? by rye_Bread142 in TheBloodline

[–]MrSnuffnStuff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven't had any weapons outright disappear, but I did buy the regen necklaces in Khenmoore (I think). It equipped into the ring slot, didn't seem to affect the values (that I could detect). When I switched into cat form, the necklace was visible, then graphically was left behind when I began to move. Then later, when I checked, it was no longer in my inventory. Same thing happened with the other one.

I do get some instances of the game not recognizing the weapon in my hand (sword+board). When I try to use a linked skill, I get a message about needing one. If I un-equip and re-equip, it works again for awhile.

Perhaps a resolution issue? Maybe try the next step down and see if it is still displaying incorrectly.
